Nutrient burn!!! That's what it looks like to me man, I had this problem once, got too stoned and wasn't paying attention to what I was really putting in my DWC rez...since it was hydro, the effects appeared in a matter of minutes! Flush until the symptoms receed...

Yea man that's nute burn :D

If you're growing in soil I wouldn't recommend using peroxide. It tends to cause problems every time it's used. I have seen countless cases of that in the past. If you're in hydro however about half cup per res should do the trick.

I'm not 100% as to the question here but what it looks like is you want me to type out how to grow :D
Best advice I can give you is read read read. The more you know the more you grow(old motto). While they're small and aren't too established you should keep the soil moist but not wet. For watering after they have gotten better established you should wait until the soil pulls away from the edges of the pot about half an inch before watering. This allows the soil to aerate (add O2) and the roots will get the O2 saturation they need. For nutrients in MG, well the best advice I can give you there is DO NOT USE NUTES WITH MG SOIL FOR AT LEAST THE FIRST MONTH. This will burn your plant as Mg tends to amplify the effects and your plants will fry. Go very very mild 1/8 or 1/4 to start off. When in veg they need at least 16 hours of light a day. There is a huge debate on weather 16/8, 18/6, 20/4, or 24/0 (time on/time off) are best for light schedule. If you want my honest opinion if you are going to keep the light on 24 hours your plant's wont get the rest they need and when I switched from 24/0 - 18/6 I noticed a huge growth difference. The 18/6 grew my plants better after a long experiment. Make sure you use 5500kelvin (or as close as you can find) bulbs for vegetative growth (18/6) and 2300kelvin (or close) bulbs for flower (12/12) Make sure to keep an eye on everything your plant is trying to tell you. If you don't have a ph test kit you need to get one as soon as you can. Don't freak out like a lot of new growers and try to over compensate for things you didn't do or things you did wrong, this will mess your plant up more because it's already stressed. In example: Say you forgot to water a plant for a while after the soil has dried and your plant looks droopy and you figure watering much more will make up for it. Do not over water :D All you have to do is water until the soil is nice and wet and the water is draining out the bottom. Nutrient burns happen because of people saying things like "I need to feed every water" Do not over feed them. Feed 1 watering and water plain the next. If there's anything specific you are wanting to know please just let me know. I have a very good germination process in my sig. Good luck

No prob at all thanks for even takin time to help me out. Thats what i had thought the day i posted my first post on this thread i just lifted the lights up just to lift up a lil and i went back to my grow see and it seems they've stopped yellowing at least for now so thanks on that one. Becuz i think the orverall temp of the grow room is ok 80f. and there is a constant flow of intake and exhaust with the intake at the bottom blowing right next the plants. I plan on getting a ac/dehumidifier since by the time i get to flowering I will have 3000 wats of light going but as far as vegging go for right now 1000 will be enough. the hydro feed schedule is 3 times a day 8 hour intervals 2 intervals feed them for 30 mins and 1 for 15 min. no special technique in coming up with the feeding sched but since i got those clones lookin like mini bonsai trees in a cup they have really exploded since i put them in there so the schedule isnt bad but if anyone has any suggestions like add an extra interval or cut the feeding time from 30 to 15 mins i am all open but would like a lil explainin on why. As far as the o2 goes i have an air pump with an bar airstone that i have not put in yet. also i'm not to sure but will cutting time time from 30 to 15 mins help at all. yea there gettin less nutes in water but i heard that they didn't need to be saturated for that long. Anyway I really appreciate the help and would appreciate any other help with any other probs i may have. Once again greatly appereciated and thanks.

Actually I know you've heard the terms of "Dialing it in" correct? This actually refers to what you're asking about the on off schedules. Best way to test is run it for half a day with different intervals until the plant looks like it's growing it's best and keep it right where it's at for a while until the plant want's more. Dial it in :D Good luck man keep us updated

i have moved my plants to my closet and are now on the 24/0 right now would that help them sprout?

and if not what should i do?

i also have one more question, the germinated seeds can i put them in a small pot until they sprout or even longer?

After the seeds crack and send out a tap root you can stick them into soil and they will grow. If you want use a white semi-see-through cup and wait until you see roots on the sides and bottom to transplant. Great method for beginners. 24 hours of light is fine for the first week or 2 but I personally wouldn't do more than 18/6 after a week.

So, Ive been spraying my outdoor autoflowers with neem oil to keep the pests off, its done great work getting rid of spider mites, but now these much bigger bugs (that I never actually see) are eating the shit out of them! Neem oil is supposed to be a pesticide, but its not working against these! Any other soild pesticides you would suggest?? I never actually see the bugs in question, I just find a bunch of fucked up leaves and even dead plants along with a bunch of squiggly doodoos all over their stems. My plants are about 7 week old autoflowers, probably a month or so away from harvesting (still pretty short, but budding). I dont want to burn them too bad with pesticides, but this outdoor stealth growing is murder with the bugs!

I'm doing my first outdoor grow and have stopped the bugs with:

AzaMax
SM-90
Twice-daily minimum squashing.

Since I started azamax with sm90 I find maybe 2 squishables a day.

Trust me once they take off there is no slowing down for a while so just sit back a couple days and then once that pop sit back and enjoy the ride :D Anyone can tell you the same.

I've actually lost my spidermites when my plants went outside haha weird enough. I think there are just more predator bugs around here that kill them before they get to take over. When I was doing inside I had this stuff I picked up called "Take Off" I believe it was and it's just 2 very basic ingredients: Pyre-thrum and Canola oil. That stuff works great piggybacked to the Neem Oil. If you mix those 2 solutions together you have a spidermite death shower :D Good luck on gettin rid of the mites :D

Joker i saw the conversation you had with lil Kush and i saw you said that you personally prefer your lights on 18/6. I Have had my lights on 24/0 since i got my clones 2 weeks ago. I read somewhere that the reason its better to have the lights 18/6 instead of 24/0 after the 1st week or so is becuz after a certain amount of time, wasn't clear on the time tho some guy suggested 20/4 was better but i guess i could say 19/5 just don't really know. but after that amount of time it losses the ability to put that energy into use for a couple hours and isn't used unless it's dark. is this the personal reason you choose to have your lights 18/6 or u tryna cut down on the electric bill haha. If so tho if you could tell me if you have seen a difference as opposed 2 24/0 it would help thanks.

Nevermind and Thank you i guess that second qoute answers my question quite well. Although I would like 2 cut back the lights 2 18/6 Ima wait a week and a half cuz i just planted some auto aks and want them 2 have a first week of 24/0 then i will prob switch 2 20/4. On another topic have you ever used supercropping techniques if so could you give me some tips for my clones.

It usually doesn't smell as good during the beginning of curing(smells kind of like hay at times)...but if cured long enough it will smell better than it ever has!

The reason the plants need their rest is because during the dark period they work on other things like their roots and evening out nutrients and using certain built up salts and sugars. The metabolism of a plant is not much different than a person. When the plant is young it can run non stop on 24 hours of light but after a week or 2 the plant starts to get tired of working non stop and would appreciate the dark period so it doesn't stress on water or nutes.

Sorry I should have read the entire post. I just woke up and haven't had my wake and bake so please forgive me :D
As far as the SuperCropping I would have to refer you to " https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/320357-if-i-dont-know-answer-14.html#post4296016 " Just click the link and it will take you directly to videos on how to supercrop, lst, and top. You could check that out. I have only recently attempted anything fancy with my grows. Wanted to get all the basics down. I have done sog, scrog, lst, upside down plant, outdoor, indoor, in a tree, guerrilla, DWC, topping, cloning, grow room design, etc. I have a lot of experience in a lot of topics but there are just so many different ways that it's almost impossible to know everything about growing :D You can check those videos out and let me know if you need anything further. I have just recently started dabbing around into supercropping.

The smell is mostly from the way it's cured but some other factors take part too. If you dry it for 2 weeks then cure for 2-6 weeks that bud will still smell "Homegrown" but you will taste a huge difference. Some strains are stinky and some aren't. If you cure properly then you will have smell :D Good smell

The "Hay smell" is actually the plant breaking down the sugars and placing them into the buds so the flavor is there (2 weeks hang dried is long enough for this process to complete) Once they have dried properly and are in a jar or bag for the next couple weeks, they will build up smell because the plant will be working those sugars into the Trichomes which will give off that sweet skunk smell. 4 weeks in the jars and I promise you will have top quality buds. The clubs usually dry for 2 weeks then cure for 6. Hope that helped.
