If I'm elected president... (drugs to be legalized)

I would make the following available to all for medicinal and recreational purposes, after a safety class on the drug(s).

Weed, amphetamines, MDMA, Shrooms, DMT...

Yup...

Those are all way less harmful than alcohol, provide safe alternatives, and just an overall more enjoyable intoxication.

I will run against you on the Freak Power ticket. All drugs will be decriminalized but you must get them from my government. The government will have all useful drugs available and it will be the purest form. You will be given a stern lecture on heroin, crack and other drugs, but you will get them for cheap, and very very pure. We will construct rehabs where there was once prisons. Not some bullshit 12 s tep but real rehab with real doctors.

All drug dealers will be drug out to the street in full public view and beaten, humiliated and subject to a stockade of some sort. Drug dealers will be the scum of the earth. And of course anything you can grow or make on your own, it is your home and your freedom. IF you feel you can make better meth than the government then go ahead. Just don't get caught selling it. You will be shamed.

Keep in mind drug dealers are people too. I've met some beautiful drug dealers.

Only the ones who are ignorant about their product or knowingly label their product as something when it's actually something else, should be beaten. The others should just be "let go" in corporate terms. Now they need to get a job.

Drug dealers, are people trying to get by, just like all of us. I would not agree with some of there methods, or choices of drugs to sell. But that's them. Frankly if all drugs were legalized it would be both good and bad. Easier access for hardcore addicts is not a great thing you know? All things in moderation.

Think about all the extremely violent people prone to murder, torture, etc. If they actually went out to a rave, dropped some X, it could change there life to feel a connection with there fellow people, and FEEL love. Maybe nobody loved them growing up, etc... Not everybody has had it easy in this life.

With proper education and legal drugs you're going to have less people trying them because they're taboo. While there will always be hardcore addicts I think they would be much better off with product of regulated purity available and resources for getting help. I know I would rather have the tax I pay when I buy drugs go to things like providing help to my fellow drug users if they needed it rather than making some criminals rich. Not that I have anything against drug dealers, many of my best friends are drug dealers, but on the whole their profession is not a very nice group. Prohibition is like a direct monetization of human misery and it disgusts me on a deep level. Yes drugs are bad, prohibition is far worse. I wish this country would have learned that lesson better from alcohol but it seems we're stuck in a longer darker age of prohibition because "drugs" aren't as popular as alcohol.

Look at how the Swiss handled heroin addiction in there country. They understand that crimes comitted to feed addictions are the legal problem. So they have clinics that give addicts 2 doses a day of clean heroin. These people have no need to comit crimes to feed there habbit, and many re-assymilate into society.

Two doses a day seems like it would be problematic. I've never had pharm grade but I've had close and nothing had legs like that!
