Since they are new panels (same tech used for a few generations of A51) there isnt a lot of finished journals with these...actually i cant think of any....maybe check out 'natro.hydro' he is using 4 of them at the moment...
Wow, are tried and proven LED panels that new in the market?

I have a 600W hid that I can dim down to 300W but even that cook the inside of my closet. I thought a small LED would have been perfect. Shucks

This will be my second op, so I'm still fairly new at this. Should I just go full T5?

^^^^^^^^ i see you have already visited his thread... :)
Yeah. Ty so much for the help, you've really helped me avoid some big mistakes

hahaha not at all. NH's tent is what I really want to do - but can't because of my price range. For my space and personal yield, I can settle for a T5 scrog.

This thread has been very helpful, thanks for taking the time everybody

VonB, you misunderstood what Chronic said

The RW 75 is a smaller version of an A51 that has been available since ~ December if I'm not mistaken, and that a revised version of a previous model.

So A 51 is well proven in these parts

I can't wait to replace my hot5. It grows well but bulbs are only good for 2 veg and 3 flower. It costs me $200 to retube. Granted it covers 2 x 4 2 RW 75s should loaf along doing that

So, yeah…I got a bunch of the Cree bulbs from Home Depot and they were the ones on sale so yes they were the 9.5 watt ones.

I can make a light fixture very easily with them now that I know how and have the parts. Even if I just use them supplementally for growing weed, they also work very well for starting seedlings for my garden…and, as has already been stated, they can be used in any regular lamp in my house, too. It just seemed like a better alternative to the Chinese light I had been looking at.

But, hey, I also have an A51 SGS-160 and I run it, alone, in my 3 X 3 tent…and, it's been working great. It doesn't get warm at all. It's very bright and the fans are very quiet. I'm hopeful it will work a loooong time. It was growing 4 plants in the tent without problem….but, one plant hermied and one was male!

I'd probably like to get an Apache tech AT200 (all white) eventually.

hi guys,
I am a bit late, sorry about that.
I have been looking for 3 days now, and it seems the best for me will be RW 75.
I was hesitating between Isled, A51, hans, BML, and a 150W hps.

By asking the prices, I ended up with:
3,75$/W for the hans panel
5,65$/W for ISled panel
7,43$/W for BML bar
2,90$/W for the A51
0,7$/W for the Hps 150W electronic ballast

all shipped but BML

in term of efficiency, I would say that BML seems rather far from hans, isled and A51 and they are the most expensive.
then Isled must be more efficient than hans panel as they ran their led very cool, and use also top bin oslon SSL 80 but better cree than hans.
Finally A51 use very good bin of cree but they lower their efficiency by putting lenses on them, but for the difference of price they might be the best deal.

Concerning the spectrum I like better Isled. I actually think they have the best led panel, but it's too expensive.
I am still not fixed on the RW 75 having no 660nm... I will look at the already made grow to see the look of the bud with it before deciding definitely if I go with them.
I gave up the DIY as it will cost me more than 3$/W plus the pain in the arse.

hence Petflora I don't think BML are that interesting compared to others... hans seems a good deal, isled the best but expensive. and A51 a very good deal when they do a discount.
Regarding the 150W hps I will probably use it for a vertical SOG in a 2x2x3 cab with clones coming from the led the cab in SCROG.

How did you determine watts of BML? They do not mention it.

I think someone said the SPYDR 600 is ~ 336w which would be < $3/w

Anyway $/w is not a worthwhile indicator

Getting back to an RW 75, you could buy 2 BML 12" bars mixing your own deep and far reds to supplement

Area 51 had one xgs 190 available, so I snapped it up. Saw that they are getting ready to roll out some higher wattage RWs. Can anyone tell me how quick a51 usually ships?

I was under the impression that the Cool white XTE's in the RW75 gave it some 660, since white is a full spectrum color just heavier leaning on the blue. Please do correct me if I am wrong though, do not like to be misinformed.

Too lazy to check, but think the drop off on CW xt-e is before 630nm, hence why it's added to the RW panel.

This spectra is proven since the EVO v1 years ago to produce..........

Yeah i tried to post the xte spectral graph from the cree datasheet i downloaded but no joy, it has some 660 from the looks of it but minimal.

I know I got mine 3 days from when I placed my order. So far I see my plants look very happy under the xgs in flower. I am ready to buy a rw 150 to add with it
