Yea man dont quit what ever you do keep trying and eventually you will work out all the kinks, its probably something to do with ph, if it is something else besides ph there is only so many other things that could be so like I say just keep trying different things and eventually you will figure you will figure you DWC out. I think DWC is way easier than soil, and also the plants grow faster and healthier than they usually do in soil. Again I thank you for your compliments and your sub+, Ill get some more pics up when they show sex.

Every day that I see them they grow, usually you have to wait 3-4 days to see noticable growth but with the
blue moonshine you see noticable growth everyday. The leaves are so big and dark green, the health of the plant is so great that the plant is growing at a enhanced rate of speed, the roots have made a bed that looks like a spiderweb and the main taproot on the blue moonshine is bigger around than my thumb its crazy. I can hold the whole plant up by the main taproot because its so thick and stirdy. They are drinking a gallon every 1-2 days now so by the end of flowering they will be drinking 2 gallons a day or more possibly.

I trimmed them day before yesterday and removed all the undergrowth that wont see the light, now there is good air circulation under the canopy. Also now that the plants are bigger and the light is not getting to my reservior the res temp stays around 69-71 degrees. They may be a little stressed from the trimming which may cause them to take a day or two extra to show sex but thats fine with me.

The blue moonshine is female, I just saw first signs of white hairs coming out. Everyone strap in your seatbelt for this one cause its going to be an adventure into my mini marijuana jungle of bud.

Yea man I stoked too, this bitch is bushy and since yesterday you can see the hairs good now on two or three of the tops. I had to change to water in the res today because they drank it all almost so I went ahead and gave them 1/2 strength FF tiger bloom so lets see what happens, they seem to like the tiger bloom so far. They have stretched out about 4in taller since I started flowering, well the blue moonshine has but the royal kush hasnt stretched much. The royal kush looks green and healthy but just isnt growing as fast as the blue moonshine so if the royal kush is female I am going to give it to my friend to put with his indoor plants because he has room for it and I dont because of how bushy the blue moonshine is.

Today is the fifth day after the blue moonshine started showing hairs and she is looking great, she has been growing over a inch a day for this last week so about 5in of growth in this last 5 days since she showed sex. The royal kush is probably going to show sex today because its been 13 days since I started to flower it, if it is female I will be giving it to one of my friends who has much more space for it than i do, and will give me 1/2 of the final harvest. The main taproot on the blue moonshine is so thick its unbelievable, its about as big around as a quarter maybe even a little bigger. The stem on the blue moonshine is as thick as my thumb, I have been changing the resiviour every 2-3 days and giving fresh nutrients with every res change, my next feeding of FF tiger bloom will be tonight and will be full strength 3 tsp per gallon the last feeding was 2 tsp per gallon and that was 2 days ago I think.

It would be great if my blue moonshine turned out to look like either one of these pics below that I found on google images.

Come on RIU I know there has got to be more people interested in hydroponic micro grow with cfls. I only have like two people subscribed. I would greatly appreciate more people to follow along with me, and give some conversation and constructive critisism to this thread. I want this thread to be as inforative as possible so feel free to speak your mind share pics and compare grows and growing tips if you would like. I appreciate all the advise that can be given to me just dont post anything if you are uncertain of what you are saying, just have facts if you are giving out advise so that someone is not misled by your false words. Today is day 18 since i flipped the lights to 12/12 and the royal kush still hasnt showed sex yet, I dont know why but maybe with the fresh tiger bloom and fresh clean water I just gave them maybe it will show sex in a day or so.

What's up man, was just smoking and tripping on the micro hydro setup. They look pretty green and healthy interested to see how they turn out. As for as the other plant I probably would chuck it if it didn't show sex soon. But i understand if you would wanna wait. Anyway I will be by from time to time to check it out.

Hell yea man glad you stopped by to join us, the royal kush that hasnt shown sex yet is going to a friends house to go in his grow room because I really dont have enough room for it in my cabinet. The only thing I was worried about doing a micro hydro setup is that my reservour is only 1.5gal and I thought that my water temps would get too hot, but the plants got big quick and the reservour is in complete shade underneith the canopy. The buds on the Blue moonshine are starting to form up and get lots of white hairs, but there isnt much smell is this normal. The royal kush stinks more and it hasnt even started flowering yet. My friend that I am taking my royal kush to is also growing royal kush but his is in the 6th week of flower and is smelling and looking amazing, honestly I have seen lots of strains growing mostly outdoor but this royal kush that I have gets so frosty I cant even compare it to another strain, in about 3-4 weeks my friend will be harvesting his royal kush and I will get a 1/4 from him and get a pic so you can see for yourself. Metal n weed your avatar looks alot like the royal kush, the color is yellowish white just like the pic for your avatar, the royal kush gets just as frosty if not frostier.

camera has been actin up, im still here I will have pics up next week some time maybe soon depending when I get the dough to get this camera fixed.
