Im a Beginner wanting to grow in a closet.

Well how much money you got to spend

bout 100 150 as of rite now

so the list of materials I need is. 150HPS or 42watt CFLS. Soil. Red Cups. Nutes right? to get the basic simple grow plan.

cut that room down to a 2x2 put a 150w hps in ther and use some pc fans for ventilation in the wall you put up to make it 2x2, that guves you space for 4 nice little plants and ventilation get pc fans cheap on ebay and a 150 hps can be gotten for cheap i think at econolight . com 20 -30 dollars

he's prob talking about 2 feet wide by 2 feet deep and the hight of your grow room

I have a question for you guys. Most of you smoke mary jane for the purpose of getting high and etc etc. I on the other hand suffer from Bi Polar and suppose to take medicine for it but I like how mary jane calms me down and doesnt make me stress and go crazy. whats a good strain and ez to grow.

sour diesel....... very nice strain... my buddy grows this.. real nice high, and the plants are strong as hell...

okay man... for a decent grow of four plants this is what will need.. well on you budget.. weed can grow in alot of conditions. but u want good conditions for some piff..
\for a 2'x2' room:
- four, 1 gallon pots( 1 gallon per foot of growth) i grow 2-2 1/2 foot plants in 16oz cups
-150W HPS, and or 6, 42W CFL's both spectrums to best mimic the sun..
-bag of soil. miracle grow is okay for mother plants. but try to get any soil that is reputable... WITH NO NUTES IN IT....... trust me... get some fox farm ocean forest if you got the money
- watering jugs
-nutrients... you whanna just get the basics a bllom feert, and a grow fert... over time and after some harvets you can pick up the full line of nutes (whatever comapny your using).. for soil i suggest the full line of "pure blend pro" grow, bloom, silica blast, cal/mag, liquid karma... it works wonders....

but remember man, you can grow weed in any conditions, poorlight, bad soil. etc... but you want to do it right for some dank shit.... think of it quality over quantity.. took me a while to figure it out myself........

you can but you can't have realy bushy plants if you wanna grow 3 / 4 plants in that size of area in a way your better off growing 1 plant and top it alot so that when you go to floew it you will have alot of top colas. THe way I'd grow is that the plants need at least enough space between each other that a CFL can fit inbetween them with out hurting the leafs

2x2x the hight of the closet 1 sq ft per plant top or lst dnt let em get too big........veg up a bout 8-10" and flower

i am growing under 2 cfls and this is how much I get

How much to you want to yeild?
Do you want enough between harvests?

Don't forget some strains take 2 months for flowering

hey 420newbie did u start those from seedlings and flower like that with just those 2 CFLs?
yeah 4 plants would last me long enuff to start over again lol

for my grow lite i was searching at wal mart and found a 75watt 24" grow light for 11 bucks

most strains...... i havn't had one that finished in less than 55 days in the 8 yrs i been doin this and some can take 12 weeks

i dnt belive thats with 2 cfl's thats 2 difrnt grow rooms t start and one looks like its got a hps in it, explain yourself

Yep, just grew them in the bath tub with those two cfl but you can see it is real brite in there.

only 2 cfl?? whats the wattage?? im going all cfl for my first grow and im almost done 4 cfls did ot for me, 23w
