its hydrated horticuliture lime it has magnisiuem oxide and calcium
NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Not hydrated. That is very easy to burn your plants with. Very fast acting and very fast to fuck up also.

After 30 years of growing stuff, I like to think I know a little something and I won't mess with that stuff.

do i bubble the chlorine out with the ej or alone for 24 hrs, then add the ej then bubble for 24 hours?
Actually, I use those aquarium drops that remove chlorine. 1drop/gallon takes care of it with 1/2 hr bubble.

But otherwise, bubble the plain water for 24hrs, then add EJ and bubble for another 48.

You could try perhaps 1/2 or 1/4 tsp/gallon on 1 plant and see.

Powdered dolomite lime is just ground up limestone, powdered rock.

The hydrated has been altered (I don't know how), to break down and dissolve super fast and to work super fast. This also makes it super hot and concentrated and tricky to work with.

If it wasn't very expensive, you could try a small amount as you would get results much faster than with the powdered. Like if it was just $5 or so. That would be your call, just go light, it's easy to add more, hard to remove.

I would still get some of the powdered/ground at Lowes.

Your call on that.

You're probably good, but a LIGHT foliar shot of epsom and micros shouldn't hurt anything.

Yup, lights off and keep a fan/ventilation going. Don't need to add mold to the other problems. LOL

Let it go for a couple days, but if it is upwards of 5 then you're on the right track (typically orange with the pH drops but it depends on the brand).

Raw un-aerated Earth Juice solutions can easily measure a pH less than 4. I say anything above 5.0 is acceptable in most instances, and so long as there is enough dolomite in the soil.

When you're going to water I would recommend using just a bit of plain water to start. Wait about half an hour and then water in your nutrient solution slowly. Even if it was let's say 5.2 or whatever, the run-off should be coming out higher than that (6.1-6.8 or yellow/green) and in my experience it should. Just be sure that you use more dolomite in a couple of weeks.

I feel that watering slowly ensures that the run-off that drains out of the pots isn't pure fertigation solution. Also when the soil is really dry you could be harming the roots by suddenly unleashing upon them a strong solution, and chances are it is going to run through the containers very quickly. Remember that a wet sponge absorbs more water than a dry sponge, and the same should apply to your soil.

Earth juice is to be used with the catalyst. And hi-brix at the end of ur grow. I use fox farms open sesame, beastie bloom, and the cha ching . I brew this mix for 3 days, with air stone. Make sure ur ph levels are rite, or she will fall apart in front of you. If you have any questions about earth juice, and are looking for a feeding chart let me know.
