Heres velvet bud at 5 full weeks of flowering as of yesterday. The plants are really skunky and fruity smelling at the same time and the smell keeps getting stronger. I noticed one plants buds are foxtailing. Im not sure why I read up on foxtailing and from the information I read it comes from either High temps and too much nutrients or just genetics. My temps are never higher than 77 and theres no sign of nute burn on the plants anywhere. The only thing other than genetics I can think of is maybe not having a fan blowing on the top. However I do have a fan blowing up through the canopy at the base of the plants. Otherwise besides the foxtailings these plants are doing great. I think Im going to harvest the plant that is foxtailing in 2 weeks, red hairs are starting to pop up here and there, however i do have a led microscope and I plan to check the trichs and wait til their milky and a few amber until chopping her down. You guys tell me what you think Id like to get your opinion at this point in the grow.

Yesterday was 6 complete weeks of flowering. You can really tell that there two totally different phenos. I put a thermostat in the room just to help me out with keeping temps stable. I think the plant that is foxtailing alot is going to be ready to harvest in a week. Today i gave it its first dose of distilled water. The other plant got the regular line Ive been using the whole time ive been flowering. I cant wait to cut these down I'm ready to smoke'em. The plant that isnt foxtailing is probably going to be read in 2 and a half weeks im not too sure we'll see.

I think u should invest in a microscope it wont cost you more than 15 quid and you will precisely know when to harvest depending on the trichomes color. How tall are they ? If u can next update can u put a lighter or a can just to have a scale I would like to compare with my plants to see if they need some inorganic kick ( I was thinking of maybe hitting mine with some flower dragon this week then overdrive for the last 2 weeks )

I have an led microscope 100x zoom, I want to harvest when the yield is going to be at its most. There about 4 and a half feet tall ill take pictures with a can for scale tomorrow. How much of the trichomes should be amber 30-40%?

alright so i havent been around because my computer shit out on me and i have no way of uploading pictures on the one im currently on so stay tuned to pictures of harvest. The plant on the left got harvested 8 days ago and the one on the right got chopped yesterday. I flushed one with advanced nutrients final phase and the other with just pure water, gonna see if this shit even makes a difference. I also let one plant sit in darkness for 24 hours in hopes of more resin production. the dry weight of the first plant including bottom buds was just shy of a qp at 88 grams. The other plant iis definitley going to yield more the buds are much more dense

alright so im a lazy bastard and forgot to post the weight. The plant on the left yielded a little under a qp. I believe it was like 108 grams dry. The plant on the right ended up yielding a little more than a qp at 118 grams. So all together I had a half pound yield off a 400 watt hps bulb.

Hey, cheers for posting these... how did it smoke? I've heard that the name describes a really luxurious smoke... and that these are fairly low yielding but that the quality of the smoke makes up for it. What do you think?
