So I've decided that building a cob setup is something I can benefit from in my next grow. The things I can find a good list for are what is everything needed to build this system with a few red/ blue lights added in. For clarification, I can use these lights for the entire veg / flower cycles correct? I've never really wired up a lighting system before so any info on Supplies needed and how to do it would be great. It may be posted here but I can't seem to find it

@GrowinGreenBeans It depends on many, many things. If you're doing something small (and buying new equipment and tools), maybe around $500-2500 is a good ballpark.....

So you want to light up a 4'x6' tent? 24sqft at a recommended 30-45w per sqft = 800w up to 1000w if you're the type that wants to max things out.
If you're worried about budget you can always build a light to cover half your tent and then build the other half down the road.
As a reference, I'll use Timber cob kits. You can buy the exact same parts yourself and build your own frame but these are top of the line cobs and drivers.
You could build something like this 400w Vero 29 light and hang 2 of them length wise in your tent and be done. It would likely cost $150 less to build it yourself assuming you have the tools.

Take a look at the other systems on the site and get an idea for yourself. You'll need 800-1000w to rock that tent. You can get away with less, like 600-800, especially if you run them at lower current and buy more cobs but it's typically more expensive doing this.

Hope that gives you a bit of an idea.

Yep. 600w is the minimum and you can add more later. Captain Morgan does quite well with lower range ppfd. Go for 6 100w citizens 1825

Or tell us your budget

$1/ watt DIY and $2/watt plug and play are roundabout numbers but go up and down depending on the efficiency you seek
