lol autoflowers, the jokes just keep getting better and better.
I can understand autoflowers in some PC case grow or when you're low on budget and just growing for fun and a little personal use.

But dropping 1000-2000 dollars on lights, and then not going the tiny extra step to normal weed, is strange.
Autoflower is really easy if you plan on doing perpetual, but one extra growtent and you can perpetually have a few plants vegging while the rest flowers.

Oh well, it's easier I guess.

Ive grown numerous auto's for research purposes and i completely agree, they aren't very good for production purposes, nothing like a batch of clones from a proven mother plant (which also costs much less) and not to mention auto's have watered down genetics, ruderalis is like a tiny hemp plant. They also need more light hours (which is extremely inefficient) compared to photos. In my experience they are for outdoor growers that live in northern canada / alaska or micro growers.

Nute burn? The yellow leaves from a 2 week flush at the end of the plants life? I agree plenty of autos are inferior which is nothing but poor genetics. So grow a shit strain and yes you'll have poor results. Given time to learn and understand them while having good genetics there is very little difference besides time. These are autos as well and would not fit in a pc caseIMG_4025.JPG
The end result is as good but faster. Less wattage is needed but longer hours which I run 18/6 for 75 days. Basically skipping an entire veg cycle compared to photo period. I started growing with photos and now grow autos. If you grow photos and only tried autos a few times but failed there is no room for the negative opinions.

I didn't fail, they just don't compare to my photo's that i have collected over years of growing, and auto's are watered down with ruderalis, they are weaker than photo strains and only take a few weeks less(but cost much more to grow). Once you grow plants that are truely elite clone only plants, you won't want to fuck with popping auto seeds.

That is your opinion with your failed auto trial. I'm not here to convince thick headed people which is better. Grow your ELITE clones. The point of the original message was that the se-450 gives me more than enough light in each 4x4 space. It's actually to intense, I did just shut down 2 lights leds to see how they do.

It's not an opinion it's a fact, learn the difference i know it's hard for you. It's the reason dispensaries don't bother with growing auto's in the least bit, no reason to, they are lower quality and results cannot be repeated. Enjoy growing B quality buds , i'll keep growing these elite clone only strains and laughing at your grow log and comments , you are a great source of entertainment.

Prove your facts then. Your own personal failed experience is far from factual information.

Cannabis ruderalis rarely grows over two feet in height, and matures in approximately seven weeks.[4] The plants have a "thin, slightly fibrous stem" with little branching.[5] Foliage is open with large leaves.[5]

Cannabis ruderalis will produce flowers based on its age, rather than light cycle, unlike flowering in C. sativa and C. indica varieties.[6] This kind of flowering is also known as "autoflowering".[7]

It has less THC in its resin compared to other Cannabis species.[4] However, it is often high in cannabidiol (CBD).[8]

Just google it, well known facts , i'm not really into smoking hemp so i go with high thc strains to get me where i'm trying to go.

Prove me that a good autoflower breeders plants are less than a photo period plant.
Nobody's got to prove anything smo,you would see commercial growers using them if they had any value at all because those guys are cheap fucks .i scoped your journal but alot of your timez dont seem to jive if you involve regular math instead of using amare math lol.i wont clutter your thread or even this one that has def turned into a joke. Do you honestly think i dont know what 70+ oz looks like? Wtf dooood lmfao :)
Its stacking up in yer lil fridge because ya cant give it away hahaha.we have been over the whole lighting side of these math equations, my rooms have been running 24/7/365 for years both veg and flower,it doesn't matter what strains i grow or for how long certain things veg because the lights are on regardless. My nutes cost pennies per gal so yeahi may spent 2 or 3 bucks more vegging a few extra weeks but who cares.we trim on average about 3 pounds a week sometimes a lil more.the shit never sits more than a week before its out the door, but yeah those crispy autos def make me wanna revamp my op lmao.all i was ever trying to say here was theres more than 1 light manufacturer making great fixtures, and what most would pay for amare or any higher priced fixture you can build 2 for the same cost.and yes 90%of this led forum is diy guys not amare nut huggerz (sorry hybrid bro) but yer boiy gots issues haha.im out, peazy :)

No one has to prove anything I agree. But don't question something and disagree with out having proof. It's very simple. I am not a commercial grower and I do not have a commercial space. If I was I may or may not grow autos. Times are changing weather you agree or not. I see plenty of photo grows here and just laugh that they spend weeks or months longer to produce minimul results. Not sure how my times are off. This strain that I have grown over and over takes 75-80 days tops from seed. Sometimes I am a week ahead or behind the 1/2 way mark but that shouldn't affect anything. As for the 74 oz I don't care how good you think you are or are not. You cannot tell what is what and I have no reason to lie. I don't care what you think about my yield or about your ridiculous opinions. Remember when you couldn't figure out how to add more cobs to a driver run in paralell vs series. That must be the part of your brain that doesn't process things properly. If you have strains that finish faster but yield the same yes at the end of the year you will have produced more. It is very simple logic. 2-3 bucks vegging for a few more weeks? So you veg for 21 days? I do like that you decided to take your buddy yodas back but the two of you are complete idiots looking to argue. I replied to the par numbers in question and shown results from a my Amare light that pulls 1.5 lbs each light per run. Continue to ruin the forum, you deserve this place honestly. I pull this and I pull that and Amare sucks I'm the king bullshit. Get over yourself dude. I love how pathetic you make yourself look every time you jump on someone who has a different opinion.

@sixstring2112 , Wow! I'm busy now so can't get into all this crap but I will say this.
This is an Amare insight thread. Those of us using them can & will provide insight to the best of our knowledge from experience.
No ones knocking others choices, just saying we like ours.
Six, a few pgs back you can see the cost comparison of the top selling cob lights. These come in the least expensive whilest being the most expensive to produce. $1.63 a watt. So, I'm not sure about the whole build 2 for the price of one statement. Building's about $1.50 if you know wazup right?
Nobodies saying plain Cobs aren't awesome. I'm just saying I think my Amares are & gave the many reasons why.
Try being fair here & compare manufactured fixtures not DIY. I see your DIY work & your recent contribution to The Mod 420 thread. I'll say it again, mad props, on your bar design & of course your grows.
Thing is, there's absolutely nothing wrong w/ Amare lights or the comp. They are only good in many ways.
If a person wants a pre-made fixture, I'd say they're one of the best, wouldn't you?
My current grow is one of the worst I've had in awhile. But that's nothing to do w/ the lights. I fucked around w/ some Microb Life nutes & messed up, along w/ 88• temps. But you know, haters will jump on that to say it's my lights.
Yeah, the Cloak is impressive compared to anything. But they're not for everyone & not every strain.
I don't lie & do my best to provide info. based on experience & knowledge.
Why you're here dogging Amare is beyond me. Mind filling me in on that?
DIY & Manufactured are 2 different animals. You know that.
Fact is Amare is providing top end components, service, warranty, & results while having some of the highest customer satisfaction stats around.
Plenty of great results can be found on other forums that are not strictly DIY based like this one.
Ok, back to work. Don't hate Six, Appreciate the fact that there is a comp. like Amare satisfying their customers practically 100% of the time. That's no threat to DIY.
N yes, I still do want to do a side by side. W/ the move n everything, newly built room n plants way overdue to flower, I just haven't gotten to it. I will next run against another manufactured cob unit.
Doubt the difference would be a whole lot. Prolly come down to a few oz. n testing. Either way, veg option, service & price is enough for them to be amongst the top of the manufactured fixtures. Do you not agree?
Couldn't give a shit about anything Yoda says, it's just you I'm responding to.

Don't be offended, just keep up the good work. You've come a long way in a short time! Be proud!

Ah, what a difference cool weather and low humidity makes. Most of the year the grow room is hot and humid- yuck

Babies are doing quite well under an Amare SE 220. I trim some of the long roots to force more laterals

This is by far the most bud and foliage I've had up top under Amare SE 250. This same strain (Diesel) that I have grown twice now
