Introducing my first grow - CFL- Her name is Edna

Thanks for the advice. It's funny that you mention that cuz I actually have one 6500k 26w bulb on the very top and I only recently put it in just to mix things up. & I have three other 2700k bulbs around it and on top. The bushier the better for me!

Thanks bro, I actually already switched to a flowering lighting schedule a little under 2 weeks ago. Earlier than I planned, but it'll actually help keep the plant small which is something I really wanted to control. Still waiting to see the first pistils emerge. I really hope they come out, ohhh, sometime tomorrow :roll: It should be anyyy day now

Good lookin plant man. Looks like your treatin "her" well. Fingers crossed for a chick lol. Keep it up man

I need help with my plant guys. On friday I had to take a trip back home, so I had to leave the :leaf: alone in the house with no supervision for three days. I had to choose whether to leave the lights on 24/7 or not at all, & i chose to leave a couple of 26w on before I left since I have no timer on my lights. I have it in a 2 gal smart pot that drains extremely well, & i watered it pretty thoroughly right before I left her. I got back yesterday and many leaves had died. They were light brown and crispy. They must've had too much light with no water and just dried up. Also, the whole plant was droopy. It was a horrible sight. Anyways, I watered it well as soon as I saw it, gave it a little bit of nutes cuz i figured it was hungry, and trimmed some dead leaves off.

What can I do to get my plant to regain as much health as possible?

Here she is today.. doing much better. Stems & leaves rose from their droopiness.

Also, Should I reveg? Since I changed it's light schedule from 12-12 to 24-0 should I leave it like that for a while to avoid stressing the plant with the back and forth? It never showed sex, no pistils nor balls.

You went from Veg->12/12->24/7??
Well you fucked up it's lighting schedule, I hope it doesn't have problems come flower time.
Let it rest a week and treat it tenderly.
Then switch it back to 12/12 and hope for the best.

I just did the same thing but for a week, don't worry she'll come back.
I had a few small clones laying down on the dirt practically dead.
They're standing back up today, but not all the way yet.
They should recover in a few days. Plants are tough.

Yeah, I planted mine on July 4th.
Did not have any nutes and the plant started showing phosphorous deficiency, and the leaves yellowed at the tips and some wilted.
But now she is almost back to growing normally!
Good luck on your grow!

Yikes, I would probably have recommend the darkness over leaving the lights on 24/3. It is looking alright though. I'd bet $50 it's female.

I'm relieved to say that my plant has bounced back quite nicely! I'm back to seeing lots of green. And lots of bright green where the new growth has started back up again. These plants are amazing creatures. Here i thought my plant was dead when I first saw it, and now it's grown a TON of new branches.

Every node is a budsite.
What happens is;
At a node, first a Leaf grows, then a Branch, and finally, a Flower.
The leaf dies off and sheds when the plant gets older.
The branch, if left to vegetate, will become another "cola" or branch, and grow vertically to meet the light.
In most strains, side branches will never reach the canopy without training.
The Flower, is usually a Pre-Flower in vegetative growth, and will die off on it's own soon.

If a Branch grows while the plant is flowering, it will branch out on a microscopic level, and at each little node two Flowers will form.
This is how bud makes buds. They are technically just chemically altered little plants. Breaking up a little bud is like cutting apart a large plant. Trippy.

The tip of every branch is considered a Cola, and will form large dense buds during flower.

I recommend you LST the tallest branches, and bend them over sideways until their tip is at the same altitude as the lower branches.
Basically, you should Physically alter every branch tip to the same height, without breaking them.

After that, the branches will naturally (chemically) grow at the same pace. Providing you with about 15 equal sized medium-large nugs.

I would've never thought my plants would look this good after a near death experience lol Super thankful, can't wait to see how much bud i can get out of her. I started 12/12 last night. I'm praying I actually see pistils emerge this time -_- 2nd time's a charm? I'm thinking light was getting through to my plant the first time i tried flowering but maybe this strain just takes a little longer to flower seeing as how I attempted to flower around the 2 week old mark. Anyways, here's how she looks at the start of flowering..... oh and
