lol@minesweeper. MMORPG. I play league of legends, world of warcraft and ... when i'm feeling creative, minecraft. I play others too, but those take up most of my play time. First person shooters are fun but I just never had the group of friends who were into it.

What they don't realize is they have automatically been labeled as pawns by the new girl. Its that dude that wont even look her in the eye that she's interested in.

I see what some of you mean now. I am literally shocked at the amount of racism, hate and general ignorance on a stoner forum. I thought we were supposed to be the peace loving types?? I assume the moderators condone and encourage this since I have seen absolutely no evidence of moderation. It's sad.... maybe I should stick to the grow forums and leave the haters to their hate.

I knew it would not take you long to reach this unfortunately accurate conclusion.
I see that it took you less than a week to realize the deplorable state of discourse in Politics here.
No moderation. No enforcement of stated rules.

And it is sad, because as I mentioned in post # 45, it was not like this for the first five years or so on this site

The reason there is restrained moderation, is because it was voted upon.
It was decided Politics would become the free-for-all mosh pit (although with some mod for the extremely repugnant). I remember reading, if not participating in, that thread when it happened. If you want a stiffer referee in here, then perhaps you should table a motion to reinstate "normal" moderation as you envision it, and we can all vote on whether or not to proceed with it.

Thanks kindly for the explanation. Never having seen the thread that you referenced, I was clueless as to how this forum devolved into the current free for all it has become.

Regardless, I think that the prominently displayed rules at the top of this forum should be removed, reflecting this development as they are clearly not enforced.

Simply put, name calling is most certainly acceptable now.

My interpretation perceives it as being tolerated, not accepted. In all seriousness, though, if you would like to see a return to stricter refereeing, put forth a motion for vote (use the poll function), and if a certain quorum is met (to be determined) the motion can be passed to the echelons of the supreme commander for further deliberation and action.

I just make use of the ignore feature when certain elements become intoxicated.
