thanks for the kind words.
bro after you see what i post in a few minutes you wont be getting a black star.lol. you will see.

by the way black stars dont use the watts they call their units by. the 240w is only really 133w so ur not getting a real cheap deal like they want you to think. anyways just wait a few minutes and u will know what light your going to get. let the pics speak for them self's.

i got some pics from Mike with his new lights up against his older 2011 ones. all i can say is wow!! these things are going to be crazy bright because my older 2011 500's are crazy bright and the pics show these brand new ones are allot brighter. i cant wait to get mine in, 4x290's this is going to be bad ass.

by the way all the pics are on low exposure on his camera. these things are said to be way brighter in person, he said the pics do even do these justice!lol. from the looks in person their almost double the brightness as the older 2011 ones i have right now.

these are brand new and just going up for sale. the pics are of every model. 100w ufo, 180w, 290w, 500w all pics have the older 2011 models right next to them (the ones i have right now) thought you guys might enjoy some sneak peek pics?

specs from Mike @ GLH

"The pure white wide band LED is the newest addition to the Spectra LED family of grow lights. Using a custom wide band LED that emits light at the 5000k to 5500k range (pure summer daylight), this led is exclusive to Spectra LED grow light panels. Its custom spectral output in the red, blue green bands is optimal for plant growth in vegetative and flowering stages. This new pure white LED puts out a number of red blue and green wavelengths (mostly blue and red) under one led. The new LED helps fill in the spectrum gaps while adding more intensity and even higher PAR and helping to blend the wavelengths That the Spectra LED grow light uses for optimal growth for your plants.

Spectra LED grow lights are UNMATCHED and UNCHALLENGED in plant grow lighting."

ya man those are some high quality looking lights shit im might have to drop the blackstar idea and go with thses beasty lookin fucks haha. i got a 120w Chinese model over 3 smaller plants 1 is 12/12 from seed and a couple other under some cfls theres no blocker in between so they both receive a bit of both kinds of light. there doing ok had some nute issues and topped em to early i think. im lookin to upgrade now though mabye even to finish these guys off.heres a couple pics and a youtube link.:blsmoke::blsmoke::blsmoke:

Sweet man... Since the sun where I live is generally 12/12 year round, I've been considering doing an indoor veg and an outdoor flower. I have definitely been considering led for this and these ones might be perfect. Thanks for the good info, and I hope someone tests one out soon- would love to hear if they are truly as good as they seem to be... P.s. do you think if it's just for vegging I could get away with cfl reasonably well, or would you expect these bright led's to give noticeably better growth? After a week or two they'll be in full tropical sunlight- so perhaps even the cheap cfl's could work is what I was thinking- I'll assume the quality of light matters the most during flower- and ya can't beat the big halide in the sky!

their will be like 6-8 testers using these lights, he might even hook some up on here maybe? every model will be tested and a few test with different grwers same lights. their will also be a few side x sides vs his older 2011 models. i will also be finishing this grow under these new ones with the 4x290's

in ur case i would just use CFL, using these just for veg would be a waste because their more for flowering. CFL will veg great for cheap
nuts. when will these new panels be up for sale?
they for sale as of right now,

Thanks Irish- I got to thinking how cool it would be to combine these lights with the high pressure aero setup I'm currently building throughout the whole grow... That would be a force to be reckoned with ;)

Irish on your current and previous LED grows do you only use the LED's to get the job done or do you also use CFL's etc thanks

IDK bro u might make me look bad with that setup.lol. that would be a great combo! something about these leds and hydro just turns out great, i have a few theory's on this. mainly i think these leds make the girls feed more since the PAR is so high makes them feed like CO2 was used, so hydro leds the feed more and faster.

100% leds nothing els added on any of my leds grows

ya i just roll with what my friend or club gives me. these casey jones should be a good yeilder with quality. dont get me wrong i try to get good yield every time, its just not my top goal. quality is more important to me. both are always part of my plan though.lol allot of in my book and all top quality buds. most of my strain i feel yield pretty good, 19oz from 4 plants with 600w is good yield in my book.

to me Jack Heere is as good as it gets, u would love her bro. hindu skunk is another top strain with yield and quality
words of wisdom if only every person in this world grew quality and not quantity... fucking commercial growers..... i know a bunch of people from this site who are about quantity not quality. The customers realize this.

19oz on a 600w is a good yield in my book as well.
Jack Herer is the shit bro!!
Super Silver Haze is its original name i do believe. That shit in bed time smoke ;) cant smoke that at work.
Smoke it fall asleep before the movie starts lol
Wheel chair pot we call it sometimes cause i use to buy it from a guy in a wheel chair hahaha

Cant wait to see more!!

That explains the recent sale.... I wish i would have waited a couple weeks.... They look BRIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well on last feeding i fed heavy and my girls loved it, now they are a nice dark green and not any sing of yellowing on the new growth. they are kicking out hairs and blooming it up as of now. i wonder if this whole time the delay was my fault and not the heat? i got some mag-pro i am going to feed them today. girls are looking very nice now. temps are pretty hot about 100F
This is just a joke.... throw some more lights in there and turn up those temps and let's find out!!!! seriously though at 100F, It's amazing they are showing any flowers to begin with!! that's the power of led.... I hope the mag pro works for ya!!!

can you do us a favor man, when you get these new 2012? edition lights. can you take a pic of your purple canopy, then take one after the new 290s are in place?? I understand it is 500 vs 290's and the core is gonna be brighter, spread around more... but I'm just curious the difference, and I'm sure other are as well.
