ive been wanting to do a SCROG and its on the to do list, just havent gotten around to it.

not sure if ive seen 24/0 drip on any grows? ive seen 15/15 and all that stuff. the 24/0 drip is mainly because of my high temps and it was meant for 100% hydroton.

i think DWC is a great method and seen some crazy huge buds with it, just not really for my setup because i have no chillier, the drip shouldnt be a issues with warm water. but DWC is a good one. all hydro methods are good just different needs for different setups.

to be honest the CFL grow was a long time ago, not sure what the GPW was? i did not have the best results with CFL and makes more fluffy buds from what ive got.

Hey, no problem. Its great having like minded people around.

The drip you're talking about doing makes a lot of sense. I wouldn't mind saving back and giving that a try one day. I thought for some reason you were talking about a soil drip on 24/0.

Its alright about that CFL thing though, I was just interested if you had the numbers. If you had the CFLs in a Scrog I saw this one guy pull 600g and do a 1 gpw somewhere on here. Or it might have been 420mag.com. A few people I've run across lately have been talking about budget CFL grows and they kept their lights about 1-2 ' from the plant and they claimed to be getting dense buds. I have a theory behind this. CFLs have a very good light spectrum for growing, much like mike's LEDs do, but their intensity is nowhere near comparison. I would say if I had to rate lighting based on circumstances that LEDs would be ideal if most people saw the light (pun kinda intended). but that CFLs can produce quality bud for people looking to do micro grows. HID is great for commercial grows or people that don't have to worry about heat but both CFLs and LEDs eliminate most, if not all, of that problem.

check out my new thread for my system i am gonna run..

as far CFL ive seen quality but not sense buds from what ive done and friends. someone els was saying that he can get great results but at the end i was right his buds were fluffy. might work for some but not my cup of tea.lol

I've given it a look. I'm hoppin on over there. I'd prefer quality but I did see a great CFL scrog that got some quantity on top of it. GL on your grow.

ive seen frosty buds with CFL know doubt.. but quality to me is frosted bud but rock hard dense buds that are packed with THC. ive never seen rock hard buds with CFL with my own eyes. but ive seen frosted buds for sure! and i do think SCROG or SOG is best with CFL's

lol. thats what i called them.lol. ive seen nice ones on the web but in person it wasnt up to par with me, CFL veg great IMO but i do not like flowering under them.. i am a weed snob and very very picky.lol. if i do get quality meds i will throw them out or make butter.lol. i only like some pure quality nugs.

i refuse to smoke anything but top shelf, unless it is a friends harvest hen its just good manners to try it out. i hate CFL for veg too so damn slow i live for HID

heres my little ones a 10 days. theirs getting hungry and i need to start bumping up the nutes now. ive been real lite on the feedings because of the high temps but i am thinking their roots are getting big where they want more foods, i have to wait for the medium to dry, when i did the wicking they got too much water and i have to dial that in, water wicked all the way up top. i kust need to give them a shorter watering time maybe shave off a minute?

either way their growing and looking good, you can tell the heat is not making them too happy but their dealing with it pretty good, just sharp edges, but their healthy and i am happy!

it dose! the water went all the way to the top. its not a issue i just have to adjust the fed time and how much they get, lower the timer @2min instead of 3. and see where that gets me?

man today i looked at my girls and a leaf looked eatin and i felt of it and there was a big fat green worm underneath its the only 1 i found but i found other eaten leafs what do u think where theres 1 theres more? and what to do?

i dont know bro? never had that issue, i would Google it for sure that will give you the best advise. you sure it was a worm? i think its a Caterpillar? those will mess your plants up.
