I am using a very low wattage bulb. 15 watts for a plant in my shed. Irrigation is taken care of and the light is set 12/12. Will a car battery be able to keep this light going for 2 weeks while i'm away?

you need much more lighting wattage 15watt wont suffice.

Did it not occur to you that a car battery is 12 volts, not 120v?

I don't know of any low voltage bulbs - except LED (3.2 - 3.4 volts)

of course i am a vehicle techichian/mechanic and an authorised ministry vehicle tester of 20 years.
and you can link two 12v batteries together to produce 24v.
as used on heavy goods vehicles.

Even 24v is still not enough power. Plus most car batteries won't last a night if you leave your headlights on. It would never last two weeks.

i know that and the light must be wired from a home voltage.

A deep cycle battery refers to how well a battery can handle full discharge. So basically you can run it dead, recharge it, run it dead again. A regular car battery will fail quickly if it's run dead a few times. When I've been boating or RVing we have to plug in to an outlet or run a generator to recharge the batteries. I don't think a battery, deep cycle or not, will last as long as the OP will be gone.
