i recently repotted a lot of herbs to pots from peat pods, and put them out on my porch. they are all still young just sprouting roots through the pods.

the temps around here are now safe from frost but it still drops fairly low at night.

the only ones to have any problems so far is the basil, the leaves are browning and i think they are dying. im wondering if they are especially voulnerable to cold temps. they have been in the house up untill now.

Yea i always grow a shit ton of basil every year and they are a bit sensitive to the cold. My oregano on the other hand(Greek oregano) has survived for over a year now!! I cant believe how tough the stuff is.It has survived Heavy snow and high heat and just about every thing else nature has to offer.

I grow several different kinds of Basil & they are sensitve to chilly weather. In proper conditions Basil is one of the easiest & quick growing herbs around. Bring the Basil inside at night.
