Is this a problem??????

Ok so i have this plant which i germinated using the paper towel method and i potted it 10 days ago. Earlier today i went to check up on it and it still hadnt come up through the soil. This being my first grow i am very inexperienced and i decided to just gently move some of the top soil away to see if it had sprouted anything and i think i may have accidentally knocked the top of the sprout off.:wall:
Is this a huge problem how long will it take to repair and is it normal for a plant to not break through the soil until this amount of time?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I used to do the same thing and no, You can not force a plant to grow let nature do its thing.

When you mess with something that is JUST a seedling, the effect of it is bad.

i second that, this is why you should have germed a few seeds, always a chance something go wrong and dont sprout
