Is too late for growing dwarfs autoflowers

I missed the pics the first time somehow. That MED GOM cola especially looks like a freakin' pineapple! Gorgeous plants! Looks like you have a nice little slice of paradise to grow in and a natural hand at it (or more likely with you, I'd guess, a very well studied hand).

Next round, think you'll stick with autos?
thanks. I pretty much just tend the soil and the plants grow. The MED GOM cola is dense, sticky and smells wonderful. It's probably coming down in a couple of weeks. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Whether I grow auto again depends on yield and quality from this year. I'm really liking how auto-flower genetics solve a lot of issues that I had with my photo grow. Especially here in Oregon where the cut off for dry growing conditions ends about last week of September. But also, they don't take as much space and should provide plenty for me and my wife to enjoy at our use rates. The MED GOM is supposed to be up to 15% CBD and 5% THC. I'm really curious what kind of effect it gives. I'm a rec user but wouldn't mind learning about CBD. CBD photos mature too late for a simple outdoor grow in my area. I'd need a shelter over them to finish and even then, it would be dicey. So, if CBD turns out to be a desired trait, it would have to be an auto until I pony up for an infrastructure upgrade. But like I said, I don't really need the quantity that an outdoor photo grow produces.

I'm actually sorry I started this now. Weedhead -- if you decide to try to get a run in, I wish you nothing but luck. I hope it works out if you go for it. I'm not even kidding. I'll leave the childish satan baiting nonsense behind. If you don't bring it up, I won't. Good luck!
One person did originally like my comment from my thread in spiritually .so I can preach freely reguardless but they fair way y'all should feel is it okay because one cared to listen anyway.also Constitution works both ways

Good luck with your grow. Sounds like you have big plans. 14 different varieties is to me a mind boggling operation. I've only ever grown from seeds and four plants each time.. The autos this year are fem and so will not get any through natural pollination.
yes they are all in regular seed form

I'm limited to growing indoors and so far, I've grown only autos. I'm intimidated by the idea of growing photos ("you mean I will have complete control of their lifecycle? That doesn't sound like a good idea. Have you met me?"). So, I'm really glad autos exist.

I grow for personal use only have finally made it through the progression many of us make, apparently. I now have the setup I need (and should have started with) to get enough product into the vault that I could start taking some chances with a crop and not worry too much about losing it. I plan on trying photos soon, but mostly because I want to try manifolding and other techniques not generally recommended for autos.

I'm completely satisfied with the potency of the autos. I've never had one ripen in under 70 days, though. 10 -- 14 days longer than what the breeder says seems to be the norm for me. I do have a Sour Crack plant now nearing finish, that will finish up at 60 days most likely.

I don't have any experience growing outdoors (and I've only grown in coco so far). Are you growing outdoors?

Here's a Shortstuff #1 I'll be harvesting soon (probably at 80 days old):

Yeah, it was a fem seed. The breeder says it rarely exceeds 15" tall but this one is ~40" tall. I'm wondering if I or the seed bank had a mix up with the seed.

what should I do about the bottom roots when they start growing really crazy out the bottom cup . I got perlite but am afraid of stressing the plant . this will be later still looking hungry last time it helped but wants more . I think after they grow crazy I should let them sit in a different sort of container . I need to cover up the clear see though cup . with something . will post a update when we get another set of leaflets
