Hello guys, I'm raising my +speed in a pc grow box, and while LSTing the other day, I might have accidentally cut my main stem a bit.
Here's what I'm talking about:

Can anyone tell me what to do in order to close this so I won't get an infection or something?

Thanks in advance!!

Cheers!

I know some people who put honey on split areas cause they afraid of bacteria getting in it or whatever , but you prolly don't need to do anything

One thing I use, is make a paste from Diatomaceous earth. I used to be a landscaper and we would slap this on any kind of tree/shrub wound. The dia keeps things very sterile and has micro-nutrients that possibly help healing??????

Honey is another interesting one, I use it for cloning, so I would bet it helps in regeneration.....

Good luck, that lady I just cut down, split very early on in flower. I used pipe cleaners, tape and my dia paste and she didn't blink....

Like mr sunshine says tape, but if its still looks green i would just leave it it will straighten up bending it back could cause a break and more stress. If it is only a small knick then tape it back

When lst'ing my kush plant I split the stalk right down the middle. I used a little duct tape to hold it together for about a week and it was good to go. I'm chopping it down today actually.

lol.

dude. really. don't do anything, it's fine. tape will either tear off bark when you remove it, or cause binding. a lose/lose situation. honey, at best, won't help; at worst, it will attract pests.

there's nothing wrong with it. leave it alone.

The plant will weep and create it's own bandage.
If you wipe that off it becomes more vulnerable to attack.
In this case I wouldn't do anything.
If you snapped it in half I would make a splint.
You are of course free to do what you wish but nothing in this case is warranted.

I snapped a nice branch once on a mother plant. I pretty much propped it up so it was standing like normal at let nature take its course. Over time it kinda made this material over wrapping around it. Worked out well. Good luck!

I've actually done worse while in flower, my fix was to spread some rooting gel on the open wound and tape, harvested some dank off that plant.

In your case though I would listen to what others are saying just let it heal, you'll probably get a nice thick knuckle at the point where you snipped it.

It heals up naturally, this is a tiny wound and I've snapped of more than half or even to the point where the whole branch comes off but just stuck it back on with some duct tape and it healed itself over a week.

Lads!!!!! I wanna take the time to really hank you all for your time!

It wasn't snapped, it was just hurt from a cable I have for LSTing!!
I put some honey on it and will let it heal itself!!

Not seeing any slow growth or sthn, but I'll just keep it simple!

Thanks again!

Hang on a sec, someone said to not put any honey on as it will probably attract pests but it seems like you actually want to attract them and eat the fuck in to your plants.
