Everything is going great and looking Fantastic to me! I couldn't be happier with this CX-9 from Johnson Grow Lights!

This will be my first and last run with the deathstar strain. Its just not the right strain for my growth style but as I stated in my first post this is what I had at the time, wasn't ideal.

I don't see any size difference in the colas in the corners of the tent or off to the sides. Nice even growth throughout the canopy!

Just my growing style, with any strain I get it as heavy as I possibly can. If the net wasn't up it would just fall over before I was 30 days into flower. I normally run 2 sets of net but with this new light I am getting less stretch in flower by quite a bit. If the plants are supported they will put on more weight, if the are about to break stems or fall over it seems like they hold back on bud building.

Interesting, when you say style you mean a combination of the timeline and the nutrients ect which are giving you these big buds ? How is your style different than others ?

How many years of experience do you have? Cool stuff. I'm very interested in becoming an expert at this
Busting my balls lol. Ahh you got me, no style. I just do things that ive learned over the years that work and the plants respond well rewarding me by getting all fat and wanting to fall over, so I use the trellis netting. A lot of people use nets and things to support their plants. Anything that would work, uhh works, make something up if you have to.

I'm no expert but almost every grower ive ever met is the self proclaimed "best or expert" ill leave that for all them. If you want to learn I suggest you read, read, read and learn how to tell the difference between bad info and useful info. Bad growers love to give bad advice so try to make sure the person you are taking advice from is credible, plants don't lie. I started as a growers helper over 10yrs ago and i'm still learning something every grow.

Not every answer to a question will work for you. Like if I asked "how far away to keep light from plants" I'd get so many different answers. Like this Johnson Grow Lights CX-9 I have runs at 28-32in away, an OG hood with a 600w hps id run 20-24in, a blockbuster with a 600w hps at 14-16in and the same blockbuster with a 600w MH bulb id run 4in from the glass. IMO "in my opinion" the real answer would be run it as close as you can without damage and this would be different from grower to grow even with the same equipment based on things like heat, co2, ventilation and other factors.

A lot of growing is opinion, based on experience, for a specific situation. So really the only way to learn is to practice and read the best info you can find. The 2 best pieces of advise I got that I can think of was " Environment is key" and "Change one thing at a time"
