Ok here we go Day 44! Man this CX-9 is doing great! I'm very happy with it!

"Loud" isn't the word for the smell coming out of this tent! Its on a whole new level of scent.
The plants look lighter in pics than they really are, its the light.

Just my growing style, with any strain I get it as heavy as I possibly can. If the net wasn't up it would just fall over before I was 30 days into flower. I normally run 2 sets of net but with this new light I am getting less stretch in flower by quite a bit. If the plants are supported they will put on more weight, if the are about to break stems or fall over it seems like they hold back on bud building.
veg harder. pound that shit with blue light until 2 weeks into flowering and your stems will be tree trunks i promise.

Very nice grow. I'm impressed. Now you've got me considering this light. Summer is coming and I'm worried about heat. I think this would be perfect for a basement grow without any heat issues.

Real nice! I was looking at this light before i purchased my LEC i just fired up.
You filled that tent out nicely, thats what im shooting for.:weed:
I had an LEC i like the sectrum but its just not enough there i Would need 2 lec's over the same 4x4 space to compare to this CX-9. I sold the lec to a guy up the street, the bulbs are expensive!

all I have in the 4x4 is a 4in duct fan and its 71 in the house, if i run the fan full time its only 73 in the tent. So im having to keep heat in, instead of moving as much air as possible fighting with hps. If i had a 600w hps in there the 4in fan would have the tent above 86. I love my new light!

Good in my opinion thats alot better choice than the 315w or hps you should be able to do well with it. I looked into a bunch of lighting before i bought anything, the 630w lec cost about the same as my JohnsonGrowLights.com CX-9 but after i took into account the expensive bulb changes, lec using more watts, and radiant heat vs convective cascading heat. I personally had to go with a cob light and i couldn't be happier with it!

Post a journal with it and ill check it out. Good Luck and happy growing!
