Lack of light I'm guessing. Plant should have been way more developed than where you're at..........more stem then leaf it appears. Another Barney's winner (NOT)

Light is too far away and you waited too long to put her under strong light. Keep going. Get the light closer (don't burn obviously) and get a hell of a lot more air moving than you have had so far.

Doesn't look like a lack of light to me, The fan leaves on the bottom of the plant look yellowed and burned, next set cupped but coming out of it, Your side branching seems to be coming out of it as well . New growth vigorouse, and leaves are reactive to the light, looking like you might be nearlly recovered. Key now, is don't re-burn it just give it what it needs. This doesn't mean feed it every other watering, just feed it what it NEEDS. Your soil probably has enough nutes now to carry it through veg. What has happened is early in growth you overdosed it, or caused it some stress. It shut down for awhile to recover from the boo-boo's cused by feeding a small plant or seedling, when planted in composted or formulated soil. Now just let it veg under 24 hour light. when ready to bloom ,bloom it. Also sometimes when you have a pheno this will hap0pen ,1 plant will be diffrent in some way, smaller ,, slower to veg, diffrent leaf structure ect.

Just noticed yur lack of fan leafs on lower branches. Dont cut these away!! Leave them behind even when cuting clones. By cutting them away you stunt growth on those branches until they grow adiquate fan leafs on the branch. They are accentual.IMG_0085.jpgThese where cut 12 days ago.IMG_0092.jpg

it looks like maybe a poor specimen genetic/ phenotype wise or your soil was not so good, i do not think it has stretched
when i first looked at it, i just thought it looked like some bag seed sativa non hybrid because of that skinny long stem

plants do not need much light during veg, and will grow fine under 125w cfl
for its age it is very underdeveloped, you should start some more plants too, keep this one to see what happens to it
flower it now do not waste anymore time on it, its had plenty of time to veg and sort itself out

peace

are you guys kidding me?
shes not low on light. Hogging 400W MH between 3 others!
nor is she going through shock. actually, i can notice growth in leaves since last night.

melongeonman seems to be right on point with whats going on though.
she's been doing alot better in the recent days, only since i introduced nutrients.
I figure she didn't have enough N before i supplied her.
however, i do not want to flip the light on her anytime soon. I intend on keeping her in veg. as a mother over the next year or so.
not done expirementing yet.

I also agree with hotrodharley's statement about light plant distance.
This may have been the primary reason to the stretching of my plant as well.

and skunk, i've got different plants aswell this one just seemed.. odd.
I rely on organic potting soil I have been using since I started. It works fine for me. it lacks nutrients tho.
also, i really dont want to flower this plant. I will probably lift her out and fill the bottom of the pot with more soil/clay balls .

I dont know, she's just an odd plant. like a girl with a missing leg.

appreciate the feedback!
keep em comin'

question... instead of using clay balls as a medium for roots, can i use something like gravel?
maybe even ocean gravel?

Find a better mother, otherwise afew months from now you'll make a new thread with 10 of these awful plants asking why they suck too.
