They were noticeably weasing pretty bad. But now they have gotten much better....I tried a bunch of them and like this inexpensive one more than some of the pricey ones.

They do take a minute to get use too, but I don't miss my joints.

I built one but it really is bigger than needed. I paid about $200 for the plates and it's a Harbor Freight press that was like $160 on sale, but something smaller would work fine. But yes, pressing your own freshly dried buds is the best!!

All that really matters it’s the coils u use. The thing is just a battery. I highly recommend you ditch the 2 or 3 coils and get the ’donut coil’ ceramic. You can clean it will a cotton stick and it last a long time.
