No, they are not junk, it’s just that I find the coils hard to clean to get that fresh dab taste. They get black burnt looking. Then what.
The donut style you can swab clean. And then there is the heavy metals thing…. I figure the ceramic donut coil is less toxic.
But the 2-3 coil ones can make big clouds

Thank you, you make a great point for the cleaning it and the metals thing. I am going to order one of the ceramic ones and have the others as backups in case.

I was going to add, if your lungs are getting tired you might try a dry herb vaporizer. I loved my joints, and I am a former cigarette smoker, so my lungs are "tired". They were noticeably weasing pretty bad. But now they have gotten much better....I tried a bunch of them and like this inexpensive one more than some of the pricey ones.
They do take a minute to get use too, but I don't miss my joints.

I built one but it really is bigger than needed. I paid about $200 for the plates and it's a Harbor Freight press that was like $160 on sale, but something smaller would work fine. But yes, pressing your own freshly dried buds is the best!!

I use the volcano at home as well as smoke alot of joints my mums has got the mightey one from same folks she loves it it is a bit pricey but its good if i was gonna get a dry herb one for on the move again id get one of those

I'm rocking the yocan pillar now a days.
Uses the evolve tgt coils. I've used an evolve for years and years, I just put it on a vape mod with an 18650 batt. Lasts forever. It's old tech though. The new ones are waaaaay better
The battery on the yocan sticks kinda suck, and they loose power as the batt drains. My 18650's give full power until they're dead. Better dabs. Unfortunately the pillar has an internal batt so I'm back to loosing power after a few dabs and it drives me nuts. Wish it had an external batt.
Great for camping dabs, dabs while fishing... etc etc
I've had a volcano since they first came out. Not the same thing.

I got the Armor with the regular coils for now cause I bought a pack of them. How often would you say Id have to clean it? I haven't cleaned it yet, its just ash and it blows out and I puff on it moderately.

It looks like ash it just a tin bit of white and I just blow it out. Im using it with the QWISO that I made.

Ah. Qwiso is dirtier than bho. Especially if you don't do it fast and cold enough. I dont really clean the coils on mine. Just when they get all gummed up. You can kinda burn it off just don't keep pounding on the coil over and over then just wipe it with a qtip
