Hi, a good friend of mine's plant has all the sudden had a very large portion of her start to droop. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be and maybe possible fixes? He really doesn't seem like the over watering type but anything is possible. Thanks.daves1.jpg

I learned this from the grow boss he called it elphants foot .

sometimes the plant will just kill off a branch for no apparent reason ..seen this in a medocino dope video on the youtube just a branch dieing off ...and if this goes to the ground I guess its called elephants foot. where the base of the stalk is wet all the time or it gets choked off by something or the plant itself and it will just kill it off to survive.

or something like that ...something to look into.

Like the stem gets choked off and its no longer able to supply water to the top of plant? hence the wilt .. sudden wilt?

A section of roots under the plant is fucked. Hopefully it doesnt spread but I've seen this a few times and it never ends well. There can be several causes that made the damage happen but since I wasnt personally involved with the grow I dont know what was done. It could have been something the grower did but didnt think was a issue at the time and took a couple weeks to manifest or it could be a microbe or it could be insect/small animal

Look at the branch thats fucked up where it meets the main trunk and see if it looks a little funky there. If so then you have root rot and it's gone systemic and the plant is doneski. If thats the case other branches will soon follow.

It could also bee some type of boring beetle in the branch killing it off.
I think this has to be is it. maybe the growbag has a draining issue:( The stalk looks darker, woody and everything at or above the discoloration is hosed. It couldn't have happened to someone that deserved it less. Life ain't fair unfortunately.

Thanks guys.
