Leaf tips curling down .. look like a hook

i've had some problems with one of my girls.. well a few of them. but, I think i've corrected the problem because this happend weeks ago and they have bounced back.... TO MY PROBLEM...
i noticed my three biggest well i'll start with one.. started losing luster on the leaves .. then, i noticed the new growth was small, then i noticed spots developing on lower leaves of the plant. 1- Plant began to develop what looked like a mold type took. as if someone sprikled pollen on it, then began to spread and turned from the yellow to black spots. Not bad. The leaves didn't wilt however ... for days the leaves were drooping and showing obvious signs of stress.
This only the spots only showed up on a few leaves as i was scrambling to figure and fix the problem... I noticed my tap water has a high PH like 8.5 which never caused probs before... at the time i was also using ff nutes (probably in excess)... figured it was lockout.. anyways
I still never accurately diagnosed what the problem was, but they all bouced back nicely after correcting the ph, less watering and nutes. EXCEPT PLANT 1.. it's flowering OK to say the best but t,he leaves never got right ... they are all full size.. show no signs of damage, but they're all hooked. except at the bottom of the canopy.....
I KNOW I TALK TOO MUCH
QUESTION IS... would anyone know what caused/is causing it, now that the plants bounced back mostly, i was wondering if anyone had the same problem, what it was, or if you know where i may have went wrong???

I had similar problems in the past, post a picture, I am not sure what the cause was in the past

I am using a hydro setup

I def try and post some pics for ya ... the sticky thread on here is more than helpful... i know part of the problem had to have been the ph. I'm growing in soil BTW. but i looked like it locked out the nutes. or it was low on P and/or K. but this is my first grow so I'm still learning.

you say theres was powder on some of your leaves that turned into yellow and brown spots. if im understanding you correct i have had the same problem. its called powdery mildew and is very bad. its impossible to get rid of but if your lucky you can still make it through to harvest. look it up and if its what your plants have got i recommend a product called green cure. good luck!

The 'hooked leaves' are likely due to N overfert, aside from the possible mildew problem. Youi might already have the problem corrected, so I'd hold up on the fert for one or two waterings, and keep an eye on the newest growth.
