Not yet. i was here looking for an answer too. i believe it's Mg deficient, but idk and don't want to just start dumping nutes in. Thinking about running up to the dispensary with a couple cuttings.

Budlover13, if you get an answer, can you share it with me? I would really like to know wth is going on.

Sure thing. i don't go up until next week, but i may go to the local nursery tomorrow with a sample. They're pretty on their game but don't specialize in our crop.

Did you start to foliar feed? Did you change up your nute mixing schedule? if you did all that it will take a week or so to start to see drastic changes.

Not yet. I'm buying the nitrogen foliar spray today after work. I also change my rez twice a week so I'll probably change it tonight as well. I'm assuming that damaged leaves can't be revived, or can they...?

No need to change out the rez more than every 2 weeks. Just fix your nute issue and foliar spray. Just get a seaweed extract

So I got insta-green and have been spraying it for the past 2 days on my girls (week 5 flowering). I also cut out all the nutes in the rez except Connoisseur A/B, AN Big Bud, and AN B52. My PPM is at 1450-1500 and I am using tap water with a natural PPM of 270-300. I will be replacing my rez every 3-4 days. I think the only thing I haven't done is flush in the past week or two. I'll probably do that today or tomorrow.

In the meanwhile, I have not noticed any changes for the better and I think I'm only focusing on the damaged leaves, which is stressing me out. Guess we'll see if the buds get bigger in the next few days. Got my fingers crossed.

Very nice! Caution on the foliar spraying be careful that you do not get mold and that you are not spraying something on buds that will retain a flavor the plant is one thing buds another. Rez change out is unnecessary every 2 weeks is just fine. Make sure you keep up with current pics we want to see.

Rez change every 2 weeks? isn't that kinda long? usually by the end of 5 days my rez has algae and turns a little dirty.

Also, what is the correct way to flush? I always just fill the rez with tap water, PH it to 5.8, then feed. Then, the next day is when I'll water with nutes. Is that right or should I just flush and feed with nutes the same day?

One last thing... I used to add a bunch of other additives which will raise my PPM (end result is 1450 ppm). But now that I cut it all out and I'm still reaching for 1450 with only Bloom A/B? Is that right?

OH Jesus!! You didn't say you were ghetto hydroing. LOL OK from now on if you are going to do hydro there a few must haves Hydrozyme is one its expensive but it keeps your shit clean and it should allow you to run for 2 weeks if not you have something else going on. .

Ok clean out all the water flush with just fresh water cleaning out everything including your plants. Fill back your rez and then add your nutes Since you do not know exactly what PPM you were using lets just use half strengths of the A&B for now I do not want to burn them if your are changing out every 3 day it wont matter anyway you can adjust then. You will get a base line of what half strength ppm is as well.

Ok, so I think I have stalled the problems my plants were exhibiting. It's a bit hard to tell because there were already a lot of yellowing and crunchy leaves and I didn't pluck them, so I can't tell if these are the same ones or newly damaged leaves.

But what I am noticing in my new girls (i have 9 different strains) is that 1 or 2 of them are showing a nitrogen deficiency while the rest are growing perfectly or showing too much nitrogen (toxicity).

Any thoughts on why? Or is this normal?

Ok. update time.

Reducing the nutes have helped. Insta-green have helped as well. I'm assuming all this because growth have resumed and the yellowing have stopped...although the already damaged leaves have continued to wither away and eventually fall off. there are still more leaves that need to die off but they're on top of the girls and i think they want to keep those leaves around as long as possible.

My new batch were topped right before going into the flowering room. I lolli-popped them in week 2. Now, it is week 4 and I'm starting to notice that the LOWER fan leaves are turning brown from the tips, until they completely turn brown and fall off. Why is that? I assumed that it was from lack of light but there are 5 1000watts there. there should be plenty of light to go around. wth?

I'm baffled that hygrozyme works for some people, for me it was slime in a bottle. While reading up on it, I found lots of people blaming their hydro problems on it. It breaks down dead plant matter.... but turns it into slime food.

JK, tell us about your setup. what kind of hydro are you doing? how did that last batch finish out? this is about week 8 isn't it?

what do your roots look, or smell like?

Well, I switched it up and I only use dynabloom and overdrive the last 2 weeks or so. it blew up a lot. it is week 8 now and about to be flushing time. btw, week 7 i jumped up to 1650ppm. now, i'm noticing some hairs are ready and and some are not. it's like some started dying and others are still in the middle of growing.

The roots don't smell and I don't really have any gunk in the rez. Since using dynabloom and hygro, i've started noticing some new root growth even at week 6-8. kinda crazy. i don't really know what to make of it...
