Apples and oranges. Led has its benefits and hid has its benefits. What led can you get complete for $300 and pull 20 ounces from a 4x4? None. In order to get the 12 cob 2 drivers needed for 4x4 I'm looking at over $800. I plan on making a cob light but I'll never take for granted that for $300 I can get a 600 hps and pound it out if needed.

Uh, the math is really easy for per light. Crop weight divided by number of lights. It's an average in that scenario. Still the same thing.

You think all their plants are at the same flowering stage and they don't have different trays? and honestly you think they gonna have a scale big enough to weigh all that to make those calculations? they just trim it and weigh it by tray. they want at least a pound per tray. probably a bunch of different strains too that all yield different , each gets its own tray and they probably flower at different rates as well.
