Do you guys prefer the pics with or without the flash or do you like the side by side? Flash shows the trichs off more, but kinda washes out the buds a little....

I'd say take some distance shots without the flash, to show us truly how much light is being put out in your cab. Then take closeups with the flash on ;) just my $0.02.

I just got my TDS meter in the mail and checked the level of the nutes, 1260! Pretty happy with that for almost a week old solution. I have been replaceing nutes once a week, but now I will be able to see better when they are getting low. I usually add water through the week to keep the level up anyway. (8 gallons)

I will be taking pics and posting them over the weekend so stay tuned!

Week 5 Update! 35th day in 12/12

Everything seems to be going smooth at the moment. Ph is n't moving much from a day to day like it had been, so I think it was still being affected by leftover water in the hydroton in the flood pan. Enjoy the new pics!

Peachez is rebounding, you can see some of the old burned leaves on her:DSCF3418.JPGDSCF3419.JPG

Here are some pics of Cameo:

I anticipate that all of the bud sites will start to exPLODE over the next couple weeks...... There are a lot of sites, they just need to bulk up!

Questions? Comments? Until next time!

Week 6 Update!!

Everything is going pretty well! Hairs have been getting red on parts of each of the plants over the last week and a half. Ph levels have been pretty level and I have been adding water to keep the PPM at a range of 1200-1360. Temp range has been between 70-82 degrees and humidity from 30-57%. Enjoy the new pics, and as always feel free to ask questions that you might have or comment on what you see!

Jade: DSCF3449.JPG As you can see, the top bud has grown about 30-40% in the past week!

DSCF3462.JPG<-Top of Jade. Here is the overall cab shot:DSCF3450.JPG Lots of little buds going on in there :)

Peachez:DSCF3455.JPGThis is actually a shot of her secondary buds. She has 3 shoots that extend toward the light that aren't in this pic.

Cameo: 3 of the 5 plants in this grow of from this strain. She is looking the best of all of them!

I keep a journal throughout the grow to jot down notes. My harvest date is set 4 weeks from today, the 15th of May. I will be noting when I think the plants are "ready" in the journal so that if it it sooner than expected, it will help in future grows. I usually take cuttings for cloning 2 weeks prior to harvest so that if for some reason the clones fail to take, I can cut more prior to putting Veg plants into the flowering cab. I have have 100% success rate over the last 2 cloning attempts, so I don't forsee that as becoming an issue but still would rather be safe than sorry! I use the cotton method with a heating pad with a prop. dome. If anyone has not heard of this method I will explain if further if there is enough interest. There is a sticky on the subject either on here or on grasscity.com.

So, how do these all look to people??

Here are some close ups of cameo:

Negative. I have 4 23w 6500k CFL's and an 80w shop light that they veg under. I have a pic of it earlier in this thread

Today marks the 49th day of flowering. I gave them their last dose of nutes yesterday. This dose is a reduction of the previous level to induce the plant to start using its reserves up and finish out. 10-14 days before projected harvest (June 12th) I will begin to flush with just water and then a few days prior to harvest I will be using some mixture of FloraKleen. I have never used FloraKleen, so any ideas would be welcome. I am planning on using maybe between switching to water only, and then again prior to harvest.

Plants are looking pretty healthy. Levels are staying on track. Cameo seems to be filling out the most of any strain, but they all have a firmness to the buds when I put a slight squeeze on them to test density. My hope is that in the next 3 weeks, these guys blow up! I know they are supposed to, I just have a lot of buds that are behind where I think they should be right now. Most of those are the under canopy stuff. Those may never fill out, and I'm not counting on it, but would be a nice surprise!

As always, here are some pics.......This time I thought I would mix it up a little and not put the names but rather a letter and see how the viewers of this thread fare with identifying them! Here we go......

Ok, let's see if you can name the strains in your replies! I am looking for my nickname as previously mentioned in this thread. Those that are right I will add to your reps! I will not say who is right though as to not tip off an other guessers

Here is another pic of the cab:DSCF3476.JPG

Let's see those answers! :hump:

Ok, so I am getting ready to start flushing tomorrow. I cut some small leaves from off of the buds and did the first trichome check. They are almost all milky with about 5% amber. Cameo has reDICUlous amount of trichs on her!

I don't have any pics that show the trichs, but I do have some to show scale:

DSCF3508.JPG Here is the "measuring stick". And here we go......DSCF3511.JPGDSCF3513.JPGDSCF3517.JPGDSCF3519.JPGDSCF3521.JPGDSCF3523.JPGDSCF3525.JPG

As you can see in some of the pics, I have used bamboo stakes to prop up some of the shoots that are getting weighed down from too much weight! :)
