I would suggest a couple white in any light, if you are able to customize. White is full spectrum, and will help you not go blind when working around the lights :-)

if your looking just to veg i cant see that aquarium light covering much, u might be better just to get a few 5k cfl or buy a small t5 set up. led veg lights are out there blackstar, advance, i think both have reasonably priced white led or veg specific lights.

I'm currently using the Kessil in the solocup comp, in another thread..
Im sure my techniques could use help, and could be I just don't have enough patience, but please share..

Not saying the lights are no good, just not all lights are created equal..
The Kessils, I expected more than what I'm currently getting with the Solo Cup Comp, its down right disappointing, I could have got the Black Dog 360U for around the same price, and with better results I'm sure..

Kessil should be asking $100 for the lights, not $350.. And I'm no better at paying for the lights without prior testing..

We gotta get more side by side grows out so people can really see what they will get..
How's ur room temps? Res temp? Room humity? How high is ur light? Ph?? Nutes?? Lots of things all play into the big picture. I'll look for ur thread.

Posted a couple days ago. Here's a pic of my plants under my B.S. 240. Just put them into flowering and the one on the right is beginning to show female parts. They have been topped once.

Hi all,

I'm looking for a led light and very interested in the Fero AF240 (avg 450w).
My grow tent is 36"x36"x63" and I dont know if its a little bit too much for my future growths.
The recommendations are 24-36" above the canopy so If my plants reach 39", would it burn them? (or bleeching maybe)
10x in advance for ur advices

EDIT: or I can go with the 357 Magnum too

Hey ATN, if you do decide to go with a 357 Magnum I have a barely used one for sale at the moment for $500 or best offer. Let me now what you think!

Just my general 2 cents to people looking at cheap lights--you get what you pay for. Also, i recommend reading around the website... If the grammar is poor and very obviously written by someone for whom English is a second language, the light is probably coming directly from a Chinese manufacturer. Guaranteed the spectrum hasn't been tested, and the components are probably the cheapest available. Great ganga is worth a little up front investment.
