lemons first grow

im definatly looking forward to the trainwreck but ive tried the lemon when over in the dam and it was super smooth, a very nice smoke,
as for seeds, im gona stick with greenhouse for awhile maybe grow a few differant strains see which grows best for me, im kinda hoping it will be the lemon.

anyway things seemed to have slowed some what or cos i see them every day ( several times ) im just not noticeing but only a couple of weeks now

haha yeah lookin mornin noon n night it seems like they dont grow at all till you skip back a few pages in your journal haha

aint been to the dam in a good long while, and to be honest the stuff ive grown has pretty much been as good as i bought when i was last there, blowin me own trumpet n that but i dont need stronger weed haha if i could find a strain that was as flavourfull as the top strains but only like half as strong id be over the moon

thanks guys for all your coments and observations. ive learned alot since coming to this site and its all thanks to you lot. knowledge is great and its even better when you can pass it on to someone else. only thing i will say is that with the extra knowledge comes extra responsibility or should i say more questions ?
scrog, sog or lst, supercrop, lollipop, nip, bend or fim, hydroponic, flood n drain, soil the list is endless well its like they say for every new answer there are ten more questions

yeah don i think your right, the plant problems start when we try to make it better, thats the problem with being humen we always wont to change nature, its like ..... " how can we make this plant better " ( cos mother nature or god or whoever you believe in doesnt know how ? )

totally man i see they just managed to make fake sperm in the toon, but apparently other science types have said that its one thing to make sperm and make it swim but its a long way off being a real sperm cell...

im sure theres a joke in there somewhere but my brains not workin too well this mornin...

anyway ive had a few probs recently, i think ive got bud rot or something, i flushed them the other day when it was hot outside, my temps shot up and so did my humidity but i didnt notice for a few days so im trying to research on it, what are your thoughts ?

haha yeah the toons had more blanks than errr, not sure where im going with that....

hmmm bud rot is a bitch ive had it happen, only with really stout dense plants tho. i ended up investing in a dehumidifier for about 70 bar i think really helps pack the crystalls on in the last week.

sadly if there is mould on your babies, theres only a few options, depending on how bad it is you may be making more hash, as the spores arent good in your lungs mate.

if its just a small amount wipe it down n try n control the humidity in your room, water a bit less and shut the windows it'll up the temps and try n increase the airflow in the room. how close to the finish line are you?

fella i spent ages squinting at the screen trying to see mould then i realised your talkin about the stem right? cant see any on the buds?!? but it looks like its eating its way through the stem, ive not seen owt like it.

was that were the bud was till u cut it off?

mould for sure man, chop the affected bits n dry em out away from the plants if poss with a fan on them. gutter man sorry.

hay guys thanks again for all your comments, been a bit busy these last couple of days but back now, as for the mould ! well ive been doing alot of research. it would seem after talking to a few people that the nutrients them selfs caused the problem. ive not really had any probs with these plants until now, thats 50 odd days of no probs pretty good considering i didnt have a clue what i was doing, and given the chance i would change everything ive done !


apparently the nutrients ( overdrive ) when mixed by more than half its recommended dosage, because they are in soil and not hydro is where the probs lay, kinda makes sense to use ferts for soil and not for hydro.

what do you guys think

youve still done remarkably well twisted man! a lot of people have done a lot worse first time fella.

i used the advanced nutes overdrive and hammerhead in soil without probs but doubling the dose is a bit over much, that stuff is powerful
