Hey man i was checking out Home Depots website nothing came up that i could find for that kind of light ....

... but i did find somthing like your talking about on another site ... is this what your talking about ?? Eco Plus Compact Fluorescent Lamps

Edit: still looking but cant find the nice veg light you have if you can find it throw me the link i might just get that trying to get things priced out. I believe they were like 60 a piece or around there. Thanks agian man
They are in the security lighting section. The bulb you linked looks just like what I got. But..... if you get the Home Depot version make sure you get the fixture too because I'm pretty sure the housing has a small ballast for the bulbs.

I love the ones I got. The plants stay short, bushy, and healthy.

It's made by "Lights of America". I forget how much they were. Yeah I didn't get real creative with the mounting. Just put them on a piece of scrap wood I had. Depending on the size of your veg area you might need more or less light. For my 2x3 veg area they are right on.

Good question. I'm not sure how else they could be mounted if you intend to raise and lower the lights. I was gonna fab up a nice metal tray with a lid on the sheet metal brake, which would have ended up looking nice and I would have been able to hide the wiring. But I got lazy and just attached them to an oak board.

I'll be thinking about it for ya.

This is kinda sucking grrr ..... i have to make up my mind though.

I am trying to figure out how i am going to setup my "New intake", my old intake for the flower room i turned around and now it is my outtake, plus the hole is at the top of the room so its perfect for outtake.

Now i am debating on how i want to setup my new intake.

1.
Just cut a hole in the wall that goes into my Veg room, so i will be taking air from the storage area under the veg room.

2.
Cut a hole into the floor to go under the house, suck air with a filter from under the house.

3.
Spending more money and time and take that idea of hole in the floor and use ducing to connect a vent on the side of the house to the hole

I already had this all thought out well kinda i knew where i wanted to pull the air and have been checking the temps in the area kinda high 85 but its been really hot. Well right before i started working on my intake i took a rip and thought of everything then shit i didn't even think of it before i am making the area where i enter and exit my room really small with all the shit i am installing around it.....going to make it really hard to get in and out with shit in my hands.

Back the drawling board, so these are the three ideas i came up with so far, i can think of positives and negatives with all three so my heads just fucked right now :wall:

Posting this to see if anyone can throw some ideas at me kinda talking to my self/ thinking out loud

Hey man... red flags go up in my head when talking bout going under the house. All of a sudden it's like you have an outdoor grow, exposing your grow space to all kinds of dirt, insects, and other airborne things. Plus I feel it would be hart to fix the floor later. People might walk there. My roof when I leave... I'll patch it up, make it apparent you souldn't stand there... but a floor, that is meant to stand on. See what I'm saying.

I think pulling the air from under the veg space to be the best of the three. Second best would be running the ducting to the side of the house.... only you would need really good filter. Also long runs of ducting really cut down the effectiveness of the fan.

Alright... any other opinions?

Hope your saturday is good hulk... mines awesome so far.

right on jig thanks for the help

yea i cut out the under the house, i tried that before and remember my screens and filters got so nasty from dust and bugs lmao(just like you said)

I have been working in there running new plugs and getting ready to build a shelf for my canfan above my door..........(thinking).....shit i might just end up hanging it from bungees again, last time i couldn't get it snug against the roof so i built a shelf, hahaha thinking to my self again. if i can not get the fan how i want it then i will build the shelf

OK for the Flower rooms intake, i wanted to try and get fresh air from outside but that's going to mean another hole in the floor or the side of the house and i would rather not cut a hole in those, my false wall is another thing. So i will be taking my Intake from the Veg rooms bottom storage area. Only problem is that my house gets like hell, bedroom with the air conditioner running to the max lmao even the light blinks on it saying its to hot and the temp is 90 in the bedroom the closet is always 4 degrees hotter then the bed room(but once the rooms are on they will at least have a outtake air) but yea that's my problem heat in the summer bla :spew: i will figure it out might take me another grow though :dunce:

OK so here's a diagram of the room, i was just playing with the art program trying to get ideas. I didn't list everything in the rooms just the airflow.

I put in green the options i was going with from the
1. veg room
2. under house ducking to outside
3. bedroom

If you have any questions or commits or suggestions let me know don't be shy ;-)

My 4'' Canfan (Flower room outake)
Veg Room Outake (I found them at walmart)
Veg Room Intake (found out the cfm, 85 per fan so 170cfm)
