lowryder 2 under 540watts t5 hydro

well the police have been down the street twice so far. one night they got drunk and crashed their own car into their own ditch at 2am. and the police have been down the street 1 other time since. and they never come down here. the real prob is is that if i walk down there and they are nice for a second they will talk to me every time. once they know where you live you are done. and if you call the cops you better be prepared. its a lose lose situation. i just wont go outside. lol. my lowryders are coming down today in order to keep up with my habits. lol. they are finished long enough i think. havnt checked them in a couple days. ill post pics as soon as i trim them. couple hours. i have 6 left.

I just set up two new totes:
2 totes 18 galons each one, with 6 plants each one,
one tote i testing the Luca's feed scheduling (micro + bloom) does not use the grow.
anoher tote, im following the GH schedule... let's see what is gonna happen.
my project is putting the plants to flower with 9" tall , and make one big top cola...SofG style ...any coments are welcome ...thanks guys

damn. looking good. i like the experiments. if all the plants on the 1 feeding do better you know what to use. no testing 100 times to get acurate. this will be good. keep us posted. i have heard many things about advanced nutes. heard they were the best but also heard they leave powder in the res. let me know if thats true. because if it is you are paying for some ingredient thats not even water soluble. but i personally have never tried them. but let me now about the powder if its even true. looks sweet.

been picking my buds and its taking forever. the yield was more than i thought. got over half ounce per plant averaged out. so im happy. i still have to pick about 3 large plants but my hands are like glue right now. lol. got 50 planted in peat pucks so well see what happens there. man im glad the yield wasnt a total loss. but at least i know there worth growing. once i get the rest picked ill post some pics but my fingers are sore. lol

alright so i picked some more and am tired again. lol. here they are after cutting all this. still about an ounce left in odd buds. going to let them fill out for a couple days and then chop them completely down. heres the yield so far. plus i smoked the 2 smallest plants in the last couple weeks. about a half ounce smoked so far. the yield turned out ok but not great. super sticky. the leaves are covered in resin. alot of amber trics. also some purple remains. i think ill turn the lights permanently off for a couple days and see what happens. maybe more purple and resin. ill turn the ac on to 60 degrees and get them really coloured. we need more pics. lol. but i should have some sprouts anytime now. maybe tonight. the lr seeds seemed to sprout easy and quick last time.

Hey guys my aks have been doing very nicely with the exception of 2 of them. The one is having multiple leaves turning orange and i have tried backing off the light and i was thinking of just giving her water instead of nutes for a couple days i dont know what is going on with her. The other has about a 3rd of the height of the others grown under the same circumstances, this morning it just got a bit taller which surprised the hell out of me it hasnt been looking good and this being my first grow i am a bit in the dark as to why. And they are now 3 weeks old not fruiting yet but i figured next week i would probably switch to 3x3000 and 1x6500, think this will be a good idea?

geezy. just keep waiting till they start fruiting. the light colour will not start them fruiting. only promotes fruiting after its begun. at least thats what most say. im kinda a believer that it may be true but i dont think it will make much difference. if they are auto seeds they will start on their own. 3 weeks is about when they should start. i think mine started showing buds right around that time but def not sooner. theyre fine.
as for the 2 bad 1s. thats what i tell people about growing. you always get them. you never know why. maybe a small bump when they were tiny? anything could cause it. i had 1 runt and several sizes of plants. it happens when not from clone. sounds fine anyways. post some pics. or give us your link. for some reason i dont see it in my subscribed threads like it always was. seeya man. those buds will be showing any day now.

do you have a problem with your lowryder moms dying after a while... or are you a "from seed" man... cant remeber kus i had that problem a while back.. the bagseed around me is some sorta lowryder, and it would always just die out of nowhere...... idk Pe@Ce..

lowryder will die everytime. its auto. it has no ability to be cloned. it will always die. sorry man no mums for yah. i just planted 35 lowryder just now and sold the tray of other lowryder for 50 bucks. i wanted a new dome and i figured im going to do a perpetual grow as it was the biggest pain ever to plant that many seeds at once and sex them. this way i only need 12 females every 30 days. they should sprout by tomorrow night hopefully. let us know what you decided to do.

Im about to harvest also, sometime soon...They have been flowering for almost 8 weeks now and the one the fan leaves are drying out and falling off, not sure if thats normal but the buds look ok....The buds just never got that big, but it was fun...I guess you cant expect to much from a 150..

the 600 should be here any day now, just got my fan today!!

right now i got a bunch of babies, white widow, northern lights x skunk,g13 pure power, thai skunk freebies, got some pineapple express on the way also....i cant fckin wait till the next harvest!!!

looking nice. thats a nice fan. ive never bought a nice 1 before but that would work perfect for me. also you use the same res as my hempstar plants. and yup lowryder is a waist to clone. it flowers tiny and your clones would have to be taken from a flowering plant and most would die. also a huge lr2 plant would only give you several clones if it did work. if what you have truely is lowryder than its auto trait makes it seem impossible. mine were all budding by day 21 and no matter how fast they grow till then they wont be big enough to clone before buds form. keeping the lights on 24/7 didnt seem to slow them at all. im hoping when i get home from work i see some sprouts. been only 12 hours or so though. 35 new babies. i used peat pucks and a frsh dome with my heating pad. hoping it will speed things up. i really hope my seeds good germers. i need 12 beautiful ladies to be happy. lol. the stuff in the cab has been hanging for a couple days and is dry now. got 2 ounces dry so far. some small buds are still filling out but when the sprouts come through they will be chopped completely. but i have enough to smoke for awhile at least. after the new sprouts have been going for 3 weeks im going to start the next batch. i got new ress ready to go and my new 2nd pump and stone. cant wait to see the cab filled on both shelves. and im gonna look at a fan like that. im just praying my seeds sprouts reliably. they look exactly like what i bought so we'll see. rubbermaid is sweet for growing. lol

and its normal for the leaves to turn yellow at the end. when i messed up the lowryders for 2 weeks i flushed them in straight water for weeks and all the leaves basically died. but the buds swelled some more and the smoke is much smoother than the hempstar smoke. i say now that 10 days flushing in hydro is not enough. i would sacrifice a little yield for the smoothness i got from the lowryder. its smooth!! and smells amazing and nothing like plant matter. no plant taste either. the best part is that the seeds either fully develop or not at all. no picking out a million preme seeds. the yellowing is a nitrogen def which should happen as ive heard picking green plants and drying them makes them taste planty and harsh. so yours sounds like they are doing just right.

well guys i want to keep up on my new grow so heres the peat pucks today. nothing yet. got a towel between the heat pad and dome and have the heat pad on low. it was a huge pain to plant this many seeds.

Thanks for the update 1982. Nice, Very Nice! I'd love to try smoking some of those luscious looking lowryder buds and your hempstars too lol. On 5/11 I started two Dutch Master feminized Brainstorm seeds and they were cracked tonight so I put them in some coco coir starter pellets under the cfls for now. I'm hoping for the best on this grow. My intake fan still hasn't made it to the hydro store, they keep saying next week. Oh well, the seedlings will be fine under cfls temporarily.

thanks guys ...for sure i will keep you posted 1982...gosh i loved your buds ....how often do you think i should flush my system? i didn't notice any power build up yet, but i will keep my eyes open...what kind of nutes do you use /and how the schedule looks like? thanks

wannabee-sucks about the fan. that happens sometimes at the local shop i go to. but i just found a new shop that keeps everything in stock. and its closer. im looking for a fan now that i saw that pic of the inline fan above this. you can start with regular fans though for now and use the cfls for awhile. it should work fine.
my nutes are dnf grow and bloom. i changed the res once a week or sooner when nutes were going in. but this time i flushed for several weeks and the difference is noticable. but i thought about it anyways and it wasnt those nutes with the powder. i think it wa tiger bloom. i just heard that they use the same nutes for hydro as soil. obviously that product has to be better at 1 or the other. i wouldnt use it in hydro if powder is left in the res. but it was tiger bloom i heard that about. if anyone else heard this let me know. heard it a few times.

Is the flush similar if you are using soil, about how long do you flush them for and is it the last week or something? Also how long do you let most of your plants go to my say70 days but i would imagine you play it by sight.

geezy- evry lowryder thread went over 70 until properly finished. mine were not even close at 60. def go by sight. in soil there will alwas be something in there. i'd flush them for the longer the better. like 3 weeks. i swear you can tell the diff. its way smoother with the long flush. 10 days wasnt enough for the hempstars. a little harsh. im curing an ounce right now to see if it gets even smoother. i wont have to get into it for awhile until the rest runs out. hopefully weeks so it should be smooth. and no sprouts et for me. but cant wait to see a bunch of pucks filled. and now that i just said that i guess im going with rockwool as peat pucks wouldnt go into pellets very well. i might have to get creative now. gotta find the males without planting all the plants in 4 inch rockwool. kinda a waste to throw out all the cubes. man i hope my seeds sprout like the store bought 1s

well no sprouts yet. getting worried if not by tomorrow. theres got to be 1 in 35.lol ive been curing some lowryder for 2 days and the smell is getting nice. it kind of steams them. man i need these sprouts to come through.

ay man whats good with your grow what ya starting up anything new? those plants i had must have had stunted growth and theyre only gonna get like a gram or two each but theyre covered in thc so its gonna be some kill, once theyre done im starting some new ones

yah. i started new 1s but nothing yet. 35 and not 1 yet. gotta be by tomorrow. the store bought 1s sprouted quickly in peat so im worried. i just keep waiting. by now my clone plant is nearly large enough to give me the amount i need. i should have started this slightly earlier.
