LST Haze Grow

Just to give you guys an idea of what im dealing with, i had just picked up a few oz of some of the best haze i personally have seen or smoked, well i guess it should have been for the $ i had spent but none the less, i had realized a few of the nugs were hermie and had alot of seeds. In about 2 nugs, i had around 45 seeds. I had tried an outdoor grow but had failed due to being too late to flower in the season (way to cold). So i decided i had to try again so i bought a Auto-pot kit with nutrients, tubing, used a Rubber-maid 30 gallon tub i had at home for Res. to save some $ and some coco-coir/perlite. I germinated both seeds via the paper towel method and had 100% germ rate, which i usually do anyway with this method. I planted them once inital root was visible and they came up 2 days later out of the medium. I had started LST from about a week in but very radual to not cause major stress. I decided to LST both for yield and space constraints (corkscrewed stem around entire brim of pot. As well i FIM'ed both plants at 4th internode, one plant now has 4 tops, and the other has 2. Both plants were vegged under 24/0 lighting with 6 - 2' T-12 Tubes different spectrum in coco-coir/perlite/vermiculite medium. Both were LST'ed and vegged for one month exact. Variable temp between 75-82 at hottest point. I added some CFL's to get a little more light for the flowering cycle, but well see how the heat issue is now since it is a tight space. Well i decided to start flowering my two babies yesterday since they are getting to big for veg. state and set the lights to 12/12. I finally got some pics, of them both, as well as some sexing pics i need a little help with. Let me know what you guys think!

i thought it was hermie seed=female plant, thats some info i heard not sure if its true, if it is your in luck, would also explain why #2 looks like a female. Could an expert let me know if this info is true or if i'm spreading wrong information (don't want that). Looks very nice, keep us updated.

The reason I ask is because I thought Haze was a Sativa and your leaves look Indica dominant to me. I may be completely wrong and if I am I apologize.

well that is the thing, i cannot be sure if the plant was hermie or just pollinated in certain areas. When i had originally got the bud, i was picking up a few oz at a time, lets say out of 8 oz. i only found 55 seeds throughout all of the batches. I mean, it is possible that the bud i got was from a very big grow, and that there was a chance that maybe both hermie plants and female plants bud were mixed together to eliminate the guy having to sell full hermy Quaps and shit, but i dont know, it is possible that the two or three nugs that were seeded were pollinated maybe even by accident in that batch. One plant looks definite female, which was said already above which was #2, but #1 somewhat resembles male to me but i cant tell 100% yet. I'll keep you guys posted

I do agree, all three of these plants i have grown have had indica traits, however this may work with the theory that this plant may have been cross pollinate even with another strain?

Quick question, how do you like the Autopots? Any tips for working with them?
I do not necissarily have tips since it is also my first time using the setup but i can definitely say, if you can find a pot that is the same diameter as the bottom but a wider diameter on top as well as taller too it would help for more root development. I have noticed on both plants that the roots are already at the bottom of the pot, They will be fine but it is something to consider if possible for max. growth. Also in regards to the resevoir, on my next grow i am going to create a filter before the tubing exit in the res. to prevent clogs in the smartvalve. It will make your life much easier not to have to find a clog when they havent been watered in days because of this. Otherwise i dont have any tips really, it has been so easy to work with so far, i can vouch for this system 100%. Things i would do if i had money tho would be to test the ph regularly, add an air pump to the res, put the res somewhere easier to fill, and supplement co2, i feel the growth would have been that much more phenominal

Thanks for the tips that you could provide. I have the MKII valves, but not the actual autopots...so I will be definitely watching your grow. As far as pot/root size I've been following https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/28925-root-development-vs-plant-growth.html and have been contemplating the importance of a larger pot size. Accordingly, your pot size should be fine. :eyesmoke:
I just looked at the thread, and was pretty suprised at how big his plants are in flowering for those small pots, i guess these that came with the auto-pots should be sufficient then.

On my next grow im gunna use my 1000w mh/hps i got for 50$ :) (basically a kid i met who was desperate for money) and see the results of a nice huge scrOG with some other seeds, see how the pots do, i just dont have the money to aircool it right now, and heat is gunna be a issue. I also noticed on my plants today flowering day #2, that there are very small balls forming one on each side of a node, could this be a developing calyx and the hairs will be thereafter, or is it most likely a male? I mean one of my plants is noticably bigger and has a much thicker stem but that could just be a better seed i guess, or one male one female

55 seeds? Thats alot! I spend about 400-500 a oz and I have never seen any seeds in my zips. Not sure how much your spending on zips but if your buying danks there should not be any seeds in your sack. Just a thought....anyways good luck on your grow, plants are looking wide and bushy. Thats always a plus in an indoor grow.
