The only people in the Western World in 2012 who are "victims" nowadays are the people who refuse to rise about that tag and allow themselves to be. As FDD said earlier, it must be nice having excuses.
Strange that MLK didn't allow racism to effect him, and he was around in one of the most racially charged times of the last few hundred years.

My first post was crediting the man for his beliefs... What I am expressing is the African American of today doing everything they can to ruin that belief, to ruin his dream! Killing others of the same race based on ZERO! Acting like rabid animals then it comes to clothes, turf, colors or beliefs!

with neglect comes poverty, with poverty comes violence and drugs, I thought this is common sense? gangs are a product of those things, and the kids that grow up there are a product of their environment literally, in a poor environment the quality of the school matches the area usually...Its cute that you think that things can change easily though.
Things are actually looking better and I'm 23 and most of the kids younger than me are looking to school as more of an option than before imo
its not like I don't think things are better than before or something.
