Actually, no.

We dont talk politics in my family. We all came the to conclusion while golfing many years ago during a very rare political talk that we pretty much all think alike so we dont bother bringing politics to the table, ever.

No, we do monthly family bbqs until the weather turns it into playing cards inside while mom makes her famous soup, get to all the nieces and nephews bdays and sometimes a game or two. Christmas every year, Thanksgiving is every other.

My childhood was surreal. Upper middle class, dirt bikes and lifted trucks, dating cheerleaders and running stop signs. Kids are living it now.

I bet your family is just as awesome...
