Super Silver Haze was the trickiest strain I've grown, Imo it's the best tasting, like no other weed you've ever tasted before, it's stubborn to clone, and difficult to grow, experienced growers only. It doesn't yield that much either, it tastes and smells like a blooming field of flowers and sugar. Clorox bleach for colors, spring meadow smells exactly like it, I've been using it on my clothes just because.

It smells nothing like what you'd think weed smell like, even burning, it smells like floral incense.

As far as my favorite, Mango, it's extremely streatchy, it was bred for the outdoors, and has a pungent fruity taste. I crossed it with Silver Pearl, and hope to see a good split between the two.

Silver Pearl is an EXCELLENT beginner strain, it's resistant to everything, simple to grow, and finishes fast as hell (45 days) because of the early pearl genes.

I'm NOT a fan of, strawberry cough, cindy-99, afgooey, white widow, white rhino. Mostly because of flavor.

My best yielders are the super skunk, and the sensi star, sensi star has a very earthy flavor, kinda like dirt and greenhouse, but packs on solid buds.

I forgot about hashplant, it's a good strain, a bit tempermental, but has a pungent gasoline taste and dense buds.

I've smoked and grown everything but kush strains, and plan on getting some OG kush in the spring.

thanks for taking the time to write that post. great info, +rep. how is kush to grow? easier then haze? would a cross between something like super silver haze and big bud just kill the great features of the haze?

Yeah, I wouldn't let anyone know about your barn, and if it's a possibility someone wants to see inside, divide it in two with a wall.

- I missed the post asking why I don't use 1000s, two reasons, heat, and amperage.

My digital ballasts run the equivalent of two 1000Wers on old school ballasts. 3 of the new 1000w digitals, unless technology has changed on the digitals.

I'd love to grow with 1000s, but energy consumption is currently an issue. ;)

This is my plan so far, any suggestions are welcomed...
Setup so far

Soil: PRO-MIX HP with MYCORISE don't use anything else

Lights:

Sun Blaze T5 48000 lumen for cloning and starting out seeds.

I wanna run 5 1000watts digital Lumatek all on light movers. I wanna try to hang blue led panels on the side of the plants or at a 45 degree over the plants durning veg for more blue spectrum.. and red during budding, any thought on that

Still wonder what strain to grow,, I'll grow 5 plants for my personal smoke. White Russian looks good.

Anyone recommend anything with massive yields

I'd forget about the LEDs, imo.

Looking into commercial strains is definately a good idea for better yield.

Chronic, wonderwoman, any bigbud cross, like ultra skunk, it's a big bud skunk cross.

There are haze crosses, idk if it would kill the flavor, but most likely the haze won't have the dominant traits in the offspring of a cross with bigbud.

Never grown kush, I plan on it in the next year.

Yeah, when it first came out, and there were a lot of problems with the recipe. I believe there was a recall. Haven't tried it since.

It smells like cheap cologne.

I was thinking about giving it another shot, I use the iguana with all the additives.

But instead I'm gonna try out the Canna products.

I've been using only Advanced Nutrients for like 6 years, figured I try something else out. But I highly recommend AN to everyone.

My advice is, don't talk about it on the internet. Thats enough to get on the radar with the DEA and on top of that in my state that would get you serious time, 10+ years in state lockup.

anything over 99 plants is conspiracy to manufacture and deliver, a federal offense. enjoy meeting the DEA when they come to say hi. I've heard they're real friendly with a no knock warrent.

I'll stick to being legal thanks.

Best of luck!
