Max yield from a 600w hps

What's the most you guys have gotten from a 600w hps? Is 2 pounds impossible with a 600w hps and if its possible what methods would you use to achieve this?

Got close to a pound, vegged close to damn near 3 months

1x600 in a 4x4 tent with 9x 3.7gal pots. 1st time growing yeilded 17.64oz.

How tall did u veg? Any lst or did u scrog?

Don't remember my.veg time, it was 4.5yrs ago.

For most growers, 2lbs with a 600hps would be possible only in their dreams.... For the rest of the growers, next to impossible... You could veg in scrog screen for three months, then flower.... I still doubt you could get that large of a yield.. We're talking about prime buds... The solution for larger yields is better light.... I traded my 2 600w lights in for 2 ss315 watt lec mh... not really traded, i had to pay for them... 2 plants, 2 waterfarms, 2 315 watt lights, 26 oz... I do think 2 lbs with 630 watts is possible... I only missed it by 6 oz.

maybe if you were using 4 to 10 600w hps`s

doing loads of clones and had a huge area and everything dialed in

either a vert grow or just an army of clones and the lights in parabolic reflectors, like everything just running perfect

that`s your best shot

then you could average over 1lb per light maybe even start attacking 2

but a one light grow ? Nah you get too much wasted light and wasted plant to do it well

I mean I know people that use 3 to 4 600`s in a 1.2m x 1.2m tent with 10 to 16 plants

They can get over 1kg

Vert with the plants around the lamp or a parabolic and loads of clones is your best bet

still, running a 600 aint so expensive that I`ve ever hoped for more that 400 to 800g from one over 3 to 4 months, just hate it when the lamps and or ballasts start blowing that can get expensive, lol

Yea my galaxy grow amps been running strong a few years, I would recommend those ballasts.

My lumatek 600w ballast has also been running fine for last 3 years also Never got close to a pound yet but still trying

I have never used 600w's but with 5 1000w's ive gotten 1.6lbs per light, and know its possible to do about twice that

300 gram is easy. 450 gram is good. 600 gram is great. From one 600 watt light that is. To achieve 21 ounce from a normal 600 watt light you would probably need your environment basically perfect at all times. To be using a plant training method such as SCROG and growing a decent strain. I would imagine there are cases where people have fluke 1 gram per watt, but to do it all the time i would say requires a certain amount of experience or help from experience.

I run 6 plants under 6x600 hps and then 3 weeks in to flowering I will add 3 more.
This one went 11.14 lbs close to 2 lbs a plant. There was one I hand fed

I get 1 pound in a 4x4 tent long veg though bout 2 months

Had 8 x g13 super haze from barneys under 2x 600w bog standard hps, vegged for 3 months and had hella co2, got just under 72oz

Sorry to disappointment you buddy here it is, 9lb grow under 1950watts, you just need to learn how to grow mate if you wanna know more info let me no ill explain how I consistently pull between 8.5-9.5lbs with 12 plants vegged for 5 weeks, only 4 leds . 1950 watts

Learning that there are ten new members everyweek with stretchy led grows claiming 10lb, pictures of that would help me visualize, those plants don't and could easily be a lot less at harvest.
