Maxi Gom autoflower first grow

The number of days left in its short life is already predetermined by it's genetics. The earlier it starts flowering the more time it has to pack on buds.

Ooh okay I see. But does that mean they will stop getting bigger and put all their energy into proudicung buds? Because they're still really small like 5 inches tall

They should stretch more. You want keep them as happy as possible so they can live up to their full potential while flowering.

So I just discovered the pots that they are in are actually 1/2 gallon pots... if these were photos then maybe it wouldn't be such a big deal, but since they're autos I think I really screwed the pooch

I just finished transplanting them all into what I thought were the 5 gallons, which are actually 3. In the unlikely chance that they recover from this, I think I'll be lucky to get 2 grams total.

Finally starting to get the temp and humidity to good levels. Temp is 72f, rh is 50%. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that they started flower early because of stress from too high temp, too low rh, bad ph (I don't have a tester), and underwatering. I'm really hoping that they'll still continue to grow because they seem way too little to produce any buds worthy of my time or electricity.

I raised the light to 15" from the top of the plants in hopes that it'll get them to stretch more and folded some leafs into the plant to get more light on the bud sites

Ok....you're not doing anything very wrong yet...your autos flowered early because of their genetics. I know they look small now, but they will continue to grow a little, maybe a lot while the flowers are setting in. ( also a point where they start to look like buds and then it seems they don't do much for a while, and then a final swell of the buds at the end)

The idea from here on out is happy plants. Assuming the transplant didn't stunt them. If so, might have been better off leaving them in the 1/2 gallons.

The yellowing is starting to catch my eye more, you added cal-mag right?

Oh ok so flowering early is due to genetics. I guess with autos you really have to try to get them as big as possible before they start to flower. If they grow enough where I can get an oz off of all the plants combined then I'll be happy.

I'll try my best to keep them happy, but since I'm a newbie it's gunna be tough haha. And yeah I probably wouldve been better off leaving them in the 1/2 gal. pots since it was a really dirty transplant and I probably stunted them pretty badly

And no I only added cal-mag once before but not recently. Does it look like a calmag deficiency? It could also be from underwatering because the leaves are dry and paper thin. I read so much about overwatering being a common beginner mistake, that I waited too long I think.

Do you mean 20 days starting when it went into flower or 20 days from seed?

That was from the flip at 12/12. I only vegged them for 3 weeks

Before the flip I thought we where talking autos here ?......

That is an auto. I have treated it the same as a photoperiod plant apart from nutes as they use different amounts etc. They all went on 18/6 for 3 weeks then all went 12/12 on the same day and as the pic proves it hasnt harmed the auto in any way

Is it benefiitial to have autos on 12/12 like have you done this before? Not questioning btw just getting as much info as possible

They say obviously there is no specific lighting regime to an auto but i decided to try it by using a photoperiod light schedule and has worked well for me thus far. No never tried it before its a first for me. Will post a pic

this all done under cfl lighting in a grow tent. No problem ask away if i can help i will if i cant help i wont. Just going off what ive done, i know other peeps may see it differently

Yeah man best way been trying my own things to, each to there own isnt it, plants looking lovely as well man keep me updated.

Exactly mate we will learn from trial and error, fuck ups and wrong doings in a grow, but making them mistakes will only make a better grower
