Kitty I couldnt agree more on the DIY aspect of it.

Have you actually seen anyone running an Under Current over here on RIU, I havnt came across a single grow over here, tits all the rage on the pharm.
Nope! Never seen one here yet. Yours is the first I know of. thcfarmer has most because they have a subforum for Under Current systems, so I think most went there. :)

So I got an email back from Under Current within a couple hours, they are going to be sending me a new manifold.

I would have just fixed it myself, but I am going to be going out of town for the next ten days and was hoping to have everything ready to rock and roll when I get back since I wasnt able to get things ready to rock before leaving.

Dan looked at the pictures of the bubbles created by the pump and confirmed that it is malfunctioning, Apparently they have recently switched from pondmaster to alita and all the new systems are coming with alita.

I think Im just going to call this round off for right now, CCH20 wants me to send the air pump and then they are going to send me a replacement.

I won't be able to ship that back to them until after I return from my vacation on the 27th as Im leaving tomorrow. After they receive it then I'll have to wait for the replacement air pump to come. So were talking Feb before I would be up and running.

That's terribly gay. They should RMA it and send you an advance unit with a credit card # if you dont send it back. That way your not out of a garden. Unacceptable service, you should bitch about it.

Well the owner was nice and they are sending out a replacement return manifold to replace the cracked one, I will drop the air pump in the mail to be returned when I get back into town in a couple weeks, its Sunday here and i can't mail it out today.

In all honestly I should have called about the broken manifold as soon as I realized there was a problem instead of trying to fix it for myself and I should have checked all the pieces for damage before putting the system together the first time around.

Im looking at three options right now,
1.Leave the clones in the cloner for the next couple weeks,
2.Try and set up some standalone bubble buckets and transfer the plants from bubble buckets to the UC when I get back into town,
3. Transplant them today into a 4 to 1 perlight coco combo.

I will for sure being doing a couple runs in the Under Current system though as I need the material for a publication I have been working on, it just might just be a couple months before I get too it, so stay subbed for sure and find a comfy seat.

"Yo medi, I was just about to drop 16,000.00 on four of the Under Current xxl13 site systems, then I came across this thread, its unbelievable to me they want you to pay to ship a defective piece back, and then you have to wait for them to receive it before they send you another one.

Thanks for the heads up, man thats horrible customer service."

Gotta agree with kitty, unacceptable!
Every company has an RMA process for this very reason.
good luck, interested to see this one take off.
Have a safe trip

You should call e-mail them and say send me one, I'll put this one in the box the new one came in & put the return label on it... No need to wait extra time. That part should be sitting there when you get back and all you should have to do is remove the good part put the defective in the box the new one came in and leave it for the mail guy or whomever

Damn, well I guess we will see what happens homie, I have heard all kinds Of Good things about customer service from cch20. See my next response.

Maybe that is what they are doing Weedler, in all honestly I might have misunderstood the Owners email last night(stoney and sleepy),
His exact wording was

As for the ap40, send it my way and I'll send u out an Alita 40, I'll send the faulty ap40 back as it's clearly not functioning properly.

I will let you guys know when I get back next week if they sent me Both a replacement manifold and replacement air pump(A+Service), or if they wanted me to mail the pump back first before sending a replacement.(fairly standard).

I guess I could send off an email asking for clarification, but either way Im leaving out of town today, so if they want me to mail it first it will have to wait regardless as nothing is open on Sundays, Im not too worried either way at least they are going to fix the problem.

Glad to have you on board weedler.

So got a little layover, though I would give you guys a quick little update of what I did before rolling out.:)

I ended up giving all my clones out to some fellow patients/friends that were in need, as none of the producers are currently selling cuts.

I tooks some more cuttings off my mom put twelve more in the cloner, and when I get back they should all be rooted, since I have a little extra time before the show starts Im also going to be putting up a temporary wall to help better contain sound/smell/temps.
