For u, id wait, if $$$ and insurance is an issue. The new healthcare will be avail very shortly. If u can get medicaid, then ur set, plus the MMJ fee is like $25 or somethin. Where are near? (dont need exact for legal purpose:):) There is a good one in Howell, he is $100. In Lansing there are a few, from $150-$180. If u have ANY documented pain in the system. U can sign a medical release and the MMJ Dr. will help u. If not, they dont get ur $$$$
It's $100 dollars unless get disability/SSI. If you get disability or SSI it's only $25.
And my doc. appt. was $200.

As I understand the law. 'A locked, enclosed facility' <<<<VERY grey area there! I read on MiNorml that we can grow outside. As long as its a locked area. That is only accesable by you. Lemme find the article. Ill post in a minute. So, if u have a lock, on ypur front door. Its a locked, enclosed facility.

Uhh? Clarify?

The Dr. In Howell charges $100 for regular patients now, as it is becoming a super buisness now. $25 for SSI? <<<Sounds right

everyone is changin thier prices, as the competion heats up.

I don't feel like digging though the law for the exact text but it's an enclosed, locked facility. It also says somewhere in it that only the patient (or caregiver) can have access.

As for felony drug convictions, the law says you can be a patient but not a caregiver.

^^^^ ding ding ding!!! Thats what it was. No caregiver, as u can posibly profit from the cultivation of MJ. Glad to have ya Tony!

Still gonna find that article, just to show the conversation.

c) "Enclosed, locked facility" means a closet, room, or other enclosed area equipped with locks or other security devices that permit access only by a registered primary caregiver or registered qualifying patient.

I'm talking about when you send your paperwork in. It's a $100 fee unless you get disability or SSI.

goose i would steer away from getting legal advise here. its soooo easy to get all your answers here.... http://www.legislature.mi.gov/(S(jtcxh045t2jvnivdtuoq1q55))/mileg.aspx?page=getObject&objectName=mcl-Initiated-Law-1-of-2008

its only like 8 pages and alot of them are really short.

basically what im saying is the law is what it reads. people comprehend things differently so theres conflicting answers. its best for you to read it for yourself and disect the way its worded. example ....it states that a caregiver may sell meds to A caregiver or patient without prosectution and its not concidered an illegal sale of narcotics. thats why SOME people say its ok to hve a dispensary.

if you have an attorney to read it with you and answer your questions. thatd be best.

I heard in Fox47 some Dr. got his license suspended or revoked. Didnt know it was him tho. Scratch him off the list! Dr. Kenewell, is outta Troy. He travels all over the state. Cool guy. But I remember his HOT nurse more lol

great stuff, glad to see the new subforums.

jofc, what do you mean by that?
if he cant wait to get medical I am assuming by his excitement that he is just excited to get the card and smoke easily accessible cannabis.
or he is in real pain and cant wait for something finally to work after many years of searching for something to take the pain and make it bearable to function in public as a regular human being once again...or maybe that's just me:joint:

Ya I heard over at MMMA.org Dr. May has had is license suspended, but anyone who got their rec prior to his suspension will be accepted.

I recently got my rec and it cost me $200 plus the $100 state fee.
