you may obtain a patient card with a drug felony but cannot be a caregiver-
i didn't even try because i didn't want it to interfere with my license, does anyone know what kind of data base these guys use to determine eligibility? or that i could check her "credentials"

anyone trying to get their card should go to a holistic doctor first-
normally an office visit is around 150, tell them you use ganj already and hate pharmaceutical painkillers, they can make the referral right there and most are predetermined towards herbal remedies
GET THE FORMS FOR THE DOC TO SIGN BEFORE YOU GO! they are on the state's web site for download, i'm sure kruzty or rzza has got the address off the top

Ya I heard over at MMMA.org Dr. May has had is license suspended, but anyone who got their rec prior to his suspension will be accepted.

I recently got my rec and it cost me $200 plus the $100 state fee.

Thats what i paid. I had my appointment 3 weeks before they could start. Looongest 3 weeks ever! I was actually surprised, that the place wasnt packed. I had my official card in 2 weeks. Now their wating like 4 months!

I hope that is true the 4 month wait is crazy and police departments have busted people saying they don't care if you don't have a card you can tell the judge.

Program Status Update (4/23/2010): Application Forms and Instructions are available for printing from this website.
Program Statistics:

  • 26,726 original and renewal applications received since April 6, 2009.
  • 13,739 patient registrations issued.
  • 5,847 caregiver registrations issued.
  • 3,953 applications denied -- most due to incomplete application or missing documentation.
  • Applications are reviewed within 15 days of receipt. Incomplete applications are denied and applicants are then notified of denial by certified and regular mail.
  • Complete applications, change forms and reapplications for previous denials are then processed in the date order in which they are received. If a denial letter is not received, then the application is deemed valid. The statute currently allows for a copy of the application submitted to serve as a valid registry identification if the card is not issued within 20 days of its submission to the department. At this time, we are unable to issue valid registry identification cards within the statutory time frame with the resources available to us. Currently staff is issuing registry identification cards for valid applications received early January. We continue to review and revise our processing methods in order to more efficiently process and issue the valid registry cards.
  • The staff is diligently working to process the applications and is having difficulty responding to all the voicemails left on the Medical Marihuana Registry phone line. We appreciate your patience and ask that applicants refrain from calling to inquire about the status of the application unless your application was submitted prior to mid-December.
When I got my rec a couple weeks ago they were at mid-December and now they are on early January.

Since we're talking about prices I want to plug my favorite shop. Harry's Hydro Open for 60 years now and offer a huge selection with competitive prices. Print the coupon off the website for 10% off your total purchase. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The MMMA is very sketchy and many people as well as CC have steered away from them.
The prices they have quoted for the coop is nothing better than you can get at a normal store. We get a 10% discount for our card at the two stores in the area and have 3 club meetings in the area as well and most have nice good people that attend.

sure their tactics and advertising are the proof
this MMMA is a state sponsored affair?

They aren't related to the state in anyway just one of the groups of patients and caregivers. I don't know much about them really, I know there is some sort of feud between the different groups, they have different ideas of how to lobby and what to lobby about and I guess it's nasty high school drama between the groups, I've heard accusations of blackmail and crap. All I know is I'm not going to get involved.

Reppin Michigan medical subscribed! 220 at home consultation, 100 for the state. Guy was super nice, outta Okemos. (near Lansing)

Remember your clone condoms people, clone trading is probably #1 source of spider mites, PM, root fungus, ect.

I'd consider attending a compassion club trade, anyone know of any good ones in Lansing area?
