Moontang

Thought I'd give an update on my experience with this grow. The hermie issue may be resolved. I won't know till the end I guess. I initially pulled all balls off of 3 plants in the beginning and they never regrew. So far I am happy that I didn't kill anything.
So I guess I will know later. I am going into week 4 and I cloned them all with huge buds on them didn't want to but had too.
Some lessons I have learned. 1000 w light performs better when the lights are higher. Much more spread. Ona is not working enough for me. I have it sitting right next to carbon filter in the room. Still reeks. Need a better carbon filter. I have a ozone generator but needs repair. Definitely the best option.

Fed them floralicious plus and the next day my road dawg starting showing tons of yellow leaves at the bottom. My guess is plants were hungry as I did it without feeding. 2 days later I hit them with 2.5 ml of dutch pro, .5 ml of floralicious 3ml of snow storm, 2tsp of cal mag. The next thinking I was going to see a disaster but to my surprise no nutes issues. So that worked. So I would recommend floralicious with feed not by itself. Took 7 clones in a ez cloner with clonex. So things are going well except the smell. Aphgan cow has hardly a scent. And it looks like it will take much longer than the rest. Chemdawg scents are nice like sweet diesel. I thought it would be more skunky. The super skunk is also sweet smelling. Seeking burnt rubbersmell but I guess it's good that I dont have that now with odor control problems. Will update with pics soon

Another update. Week 5. Good news is things are progressing I haven't seen any hermie aftermaths. I did not kill one and I don't see any evidence that this isn't looking like a normal grow. I guess I will found out at the end for seeds. The road dawg seems like the most solid over all plant but something has happened. I noticed the plant leaves all of them at once go from green to pale yellow. In like 4 days. I felt that I may starved her. Idk. So I finally feed them this time around I started my bloombastic 1ml per gal. I have used 1tbsp calmag, 1ml floralicious 2ml snowstorm 2.5ml a/b dutch pro the seven plants drank 2 gal of that. All in 5 gal pots. 2 days later seeing some signs of nute burn. Tips. Some leaves turn yellow shrivel up turn brown and crispy and fall off. I am seeing some signs canoeing downward and leaves pointing down. I don't remember what that symptom is I gotta look it up. Was outta town 4 days plants were shriveled from no water. Amazingly they all sprung back except for some leaves which were on their way out

Overall they look happy some a bit frustrated but the buds are all looking frosty. I mean really frosty like I white strain.

Issues ordors/clones

Ordors. I have carbon filter and ONA not working but I think I figured out the issue the fan is way to strong for the filter so it doesn't give the carbon a chance to work. It is a 750cfm running through 1000w light to filter 10 to 15 feet away. The filter is 4in 1 year old so I had no budget to buy anything else. I have a big blue but needs repair. Anyway I had to put filter in a bucket wedge the ONA inside the bucket. Ona ran out in 3 days lol. So what I did was shove towels inside the bucket to block the air from suckling so hard. Seems to fix the issues but I'll know in the morning

Clones
I have an aero cloner only 1 of the 6 rooted after 2 weeks. So I decided to recut the clones. They just didn't look like it would happen end of the stem was black and slimey. Due to super cropping all lower buds are the top buds. So hope that will work

Regeneration. I have decided to do regeneration if the clones don't make it. First time ever doing. My thought were to transplant 2 plants into one 8 gal pot. With new and old soil. So when I get to that point I will check back in. I will post pics soon at beginning of 6th week.

Update
7th week flower. Infamous yellowing of fan leaves using dutch pro bloom. Buds are fine I am not going to worry. So if so pretty sure now the whole garden got pollinated. Not going to worry there was no way I was going to throw these out. I took clones. 5 did not root after 14 days.I recut the stems and it looks like 2 more are going to come back. So I guess I made a few new strains with feminized or hermie seeds. And they all have chemdawg skunk va 91 in it. Aphgan cow x moontang, super skunk x moontang, road dawg x moontang. So other than yield I am very happy. I will let these go another month maybe. The odor is out of control. One day I had to turn the light off for a day. Need a much larger filter. I swear I pulled off a test bud to microwave and had screen door open. Not only did a quarter size bud lit up my house but I could smell it 200 feet away from my house down the street. I freaked out. I am using every thing to supplement carbon filter. Bounce, oils nothing consistently works. Either need a fan control or a larger filter. All the strains are fine. The sativa strains have to take getting used to. It's just a mild high that seems to last all day. It is early. Im sure I will have to do segmented harverst.

Can anyone weigh in on a harvest time.I super cropped everything, I wanted 2 weeks before beginning week 0. So I am beegging week 7.

So I plan to revege. Yanking genetic hermies out this run. I got clones and I have seeds.
