I don't have the bags. Looked on the website couldn't find it, but it was the Sta-Green brand. I did a 50/50 mix of garden soil and potting mix on the bottom half of the bucket and just garden soil on the top half. The soil is pretty dense. I mixed in the potting mix for the bottom of the buckets to create some pockets for air and drainage. The potting mix was closer to mulch.
I think i found it .... Looks just like mulch ... So since its pre-fertilized soil , are you adding anything else or water only grow ? It seems it is a nice light mix ( .10 - .08 - .06 ).

I used 2 different bags. Garden Soil and Potting Mix 50/50 on the bottom half of the buckets and straight garden soil on the top half. Just water first 2 weeks. Now I'm using a normal MG fert. I will take pics tomorrow but I'm pretty sure it's 24-8-16 I use the small end of the scooper that came with it. 1 scoop per gallon of water. During week 6 I will switch over to HPS bulb and also go to a MG bloom fert of 10-30-10 again one small scoop per gallon.

Thanks! Moved the buckets today to give them more space....All 3 BD's have flowered. Just waiting on the one WWM to catch up and I will switch over to the HPS bulb.

You can't argue with success! The plants look great. I haven't grown any autos in several years but I received some as freebies (3 of the BD Auto), so you've encouraged me to try them in my veg area. I wonder how they will flower under t5's?....maybe a mixture of spectrums to keep everyone happy? I will be using my organic nutes, since I've finally got my worm bin producing castings, but for those using commercial fertilizers in soil, I know that MG can produce a nice crop.

Thanks! The BD's were my fav smoke last year. This year is looking even better. I have no experience with CFL lighting so no help to you there.

6feet 2in they grew to,lovely smoke tho we got another one on the go now and a blue mango
I would have to do some late LST tie back if mine get that big. 4 ft would be my max. Figure I got a 7ft tent. Little under 1ft for the light, 1ft for the buckets, 4ft plants would leave 1ft between the light. MSNL puts the avg max at 100cm, so 3.2 ft. One of the reasons I went for auto's is the smaller size.

Im always wondering why the one WWM has been an almost neon green the entire time? It has gotten the same treatment as the other 4. Maybe I should give her an exrta feeding? Im doing straight water this time and next. Then I will switch over to the bloom feed and HPS bulb. Should happen by the weekend.

Keep on truckin....
