Mutation... and possible benefit?

So instead of growing symmetrically with a leaf on each side, it seems to have grown two on one side. What will this mean when the plant grows larger? Could it mean two main colas?

I guess the only way to really find out is to just let it grow. Thought I'd share this though, it's pretty interesting.

Does anyone have any idea?
