Dude, just send me 35 bucks, and I'll send you back a unit big enough to flower 2 or 4 glorious plants.. Look up recirculating DWC, or RDWC, it looks simple, but just start putting pieces together and your realize it's really really easy. All this hydroponics stuff is soooooo easy, and you can find this kind of stuff everywhere. Do you know Kmart online sells LED Grow lights by Hydrofarm? How much do you want to bet they sell net pots and air pumps?

DWC can be done in your sleep, EBB can be done in a short afternoon, RDWC can be done in a day, and aeroponics can be done probably in less time than RDWC but with a few days worth of testing involved. NFT isn't any hard either. It is just a pump pushing water up, and gravity bringing water down on a timer. Water goes into a bucket, tray, or container with grow medium in it, plants saturate, dry out, breathe, and repeat. It's a wonderfully simple deal.

But if your time is worth more than the money, you can buy it pre-assembled at a considerable mark up, but I much prefer custom fit stuff to my own oblong rooms.

Go to the GH website and look up the nutrient calculator, does it need flora micro as well? Super Thrive is fine if it won't bring up your PPM's to high, I never use the stuff, it gives bad flavor. If you decide to use it on into flowering, do not use it passed week 2-3, I swear to god you'll be able to taste it for weeks afterwards!

Thanks. I left the Super Thrive out for now, I gave them 2ml gro, 2lm micro, and 1.5ml bloom for the whole res. In a few days I will flush and then step it up a little. According to the chart I was supposed to give them 2.5 of each- per gallon, but I figured I'd under feed them for a few days since they have had it rough.

Well.. So I can fit the buckets pretty perfectly into a 2x4 formation. Or I can do a 3-2-2-1, that looks pretty weird but gives me a little more space around the clone/veg booth.

The tape measure was supposed to illustrate the 5ft I have on the back wall, but really i should only use 4ft of it, otherwise Id be right up on the veg booth.

Anyways, 6 buckets spread out looks like it would be a pretty perfect system. 4-6 plants is great for your first 2 rounds, you don't want to become over whelmed or have to buy more lighting equipment mid grow when the rent is due. 4 - 6 plants are a pleasure to care for, and not nearly the same chore as some of the gardens I've worked. That is why I like my garden small for the moment. Really easy + it keeps me legal.

That is actually a pretty good little grow space you got there. You can get a super sweet RDWC or EBB system in there no problemo with room to veg.

Here's the "master kush" (outdoor grown) according to the idiot I bought it from... who by the way was more than happy to impart some knowledge concerning marijuana growing upon me (of course i didnt tell him he was wrong) He told me all about how there's only one harvest a year, and the buds get to be the size small cars, and how he was going to go trim in northern cali and get paid a pound an hour for trimming, bring it back here and make millions. he also talked about how most of the bud we get here is at least 2 years old, because it's really dark.... I'm sure he's planning his retirement as we (-I-) speak.

I filled a small turkey bag today with SFV nugs, that made me happy. I am ordering seeds in 10 minutes when the seedbank opens up for the week (dutch time) I am getting the White Castle by Nirvana, Chernobyl from TGA Subcool, and Dairy Queen from TGA Subcool. This should be daaaaank!!! Chernobyl and Dairyqueen are free if you order seeds in the next 8 hours from Attitude Seedbank. Those two strains are fucking super mega fire, btw. Or at least, so I've heard, I believe it though!

Sprouts all look great, their light just turned off. I transplanted them all into soiless mix, Sunshine #4 with no amendments. They all are working on their first set of real multi-speared leaves right now and they are all good and squat. I presoaked my pots with Clonex, Dynagro, and Azamax at ph 5.7, PPM 256. I used Azamax because we have huge bug problems up in the mountain, and I want these to taste as foul to bugs as possible as early on as possible. The leaves did some very light twisting from the Azamax, but it's okay, it's well worth a little stress to ensure a bug-free plant, start to finish. Everything was germinated between two plates and a wet paper towel, and then everything was grown in Rapid Rooter, or rather, a sweet discount knock off of rapid rooters. I'll take pictures tomorrow. They all look shorter because I buried them nice and deep in their containers, so I will have roots growing off of their buried stalks.

Oh, and as for the lighting I use 6 T-5 HO light strips my grow partners had, and last night I spend about 70 bucks getting different mounting kits and reflectors from sunlight supply that DO NOT fit together, and I spent my day grinding the metal parts down until they all fit together. And now I have a 2x2 6 bulb HO fixture. I really wish they were VHO, but these guys cheaped out, maybe I will update some day. Either way with all the reflectors on they make crazy good light. And I also have a horticulture grade 125 actual watt CFL with a cheap hood down below for my larger vegging plants, they love that shit. I do miss all my MH though.

Oh man, I am so excited about my seeds coming, I can't wait!

So today I figured I'd chill in my grow room, and just smoke some bowls and look at my plants. I already said happy birthday to America and since no one I know is in town, I grabbed my grinder and here I am sittin in the closet. I like to do this once in awhile because I think my mind automatically recognizes potential problems and so I start to brainstorm, on an almost subconscious level. In any case, when I first was setting up my grow room I spent a lot of time in here, and ended up building those really cool planters, and I think so far my grow room looks pretty good, all things considered.

First I though maybe Jocelyn.. then maybe like a pet version of Josh - like something one's mom might say- , and then I arrived at the possibility of a ebonic - John. Still haven't figured it out yet, and don't tell me. ^Unless I already got it. It's pretty fun to get stoned and keep guessin.

So far, on my little closet adventure, I noticed a real difference in plant structure, which heretofore I believed to be a nutrient deficiency or overload. The reason for it is because the one that look different is a JackHammer. It has fewer, broader leaves, and a somewhat darker color. It is the only JackHammer to have made it. -wish i had some mushrooms or acid to drop in here, and kick it up a notch- probably a bad idea though, as these guys are still too fragile for fondling. I DID, however, stick my nose right up in "megan fox", and she smells like weed! even though she's like 3 inches tall, which is awesome. I guess I never noticed before either because I was stoned, or just haven't stuck my nose all up in their shit. I try to give them privacy for the most part. There's some really pretty leaf development now that I have real water, and I can tell these KF3's are going to be bushy as shit! Whereas this JackHammer looks rather like a one cola show.

It's only been about 48 hrs since I put in the low strength nutes, and I can see some improvements for sure, but I was wondering if I should go ahead and bump them with up to 500.. or give them a few more days recovery? My biggest concern is Nowitzki, he got hit hard with those bad nutes and water right about the time Barea died, and I don't want him to kick it too. the lower leaves look fucked, so I'm sure they'll fall off or something, but the uppers look good. I just want to know if he needs more time, or if he's good for some more juice...

Also, when I checked my res yesterday, the pH was 5.5. Now it is up to 7.2; I have been capping the pH meter after use with 7.0 calibration solution, so I thought that might be the problem. So i grabbed some drops and sure enough it was up in the 7's. So I then overcompensated, down to 4.4, added some tap water (I know) and it's back up to 5.2. I'm leaving it there for now to see what happens, and I'm leaving my trimeter hooked up so I can figure this shit out. I really don't want to have to worry about re-doing my pH every day.

Bump it on up by 100PPM. If they love that, give them another 50-100 in 4 days. Once they start rapid feeding you can bump PPM by 50-100 every 4 days, or 100-150PPM every 8 days. Since they are rapidly feeding I suggest the 4 day regimen, unless you don't have time for that.

Haha, thanks for the shout out buddy. None of those names were right, but the theory behind one is! Oh but which theory? Which theory? I guess I'll let you smoke a few more bowls and mull that one over. Some people would rather give up their left foot to be in a hydroponic pot garden on 4th instead of in front of a bbq. - I just finished reading a 12/12 from day one crop of killing fields f2, and the yield was pretty awesome. the buds looked amazing too. If I threw them into flower now it looks like I could have 4-5 oz in 2 1/2 mo's. I'm not even thinking about doing it, it's just cool that you can do that. 12/12 from day one.. and still have a good crop
