My 1st BubblePonics

Well my reservoirs are only 3 gal. I have used too many nutes in the past and my seedlings are just now kind of getting over my initial poisonings... so i didnt want to overdo it. SuperThrive recommends itself being used 1ml per gal with other feeding programs. I just went low to be on the safe side. When I change out res's again I'll up it another ml. The first half of flower is when I really want to use a shit load of that stuff... so they get super big, and wont taste like shit. I might actually use 1-2ml a gal with my flora series during that.. but we will see.
10 ml a gal? holy shit dude, I wanna see those plants! you got a link?

I would stick with what you are doing with the superthrive application, up it as needed but keep it easy for now. I really wouldn't recommend Super Thrive outside of week 3 of flowering plants, maybe week 4 or 5 if you have a 10 or 11 week flower period.

Nice!
That big ass killing fields on the right is definitely a prime candidate, as long as it doesn't to turn out to be a dude. Roots are looking extra meaty. I see a growth explosion of roots in your near future...

I hope at least 3 turn out to be females, so you can fill your 600w. If you only end up with 2 females, you can scrog the hell out of them, and still fill your light footprint. I'm doing that right now actually, lol, scroging is super-duper easy too. Is all of that Killing Fields?

The one in the back left is a JackHammer. I am pissed though because it might die..left town again for only 24 hrs this time and Gunther looks like he might not make it. I'll post some pics in a bit.. but I need to figure out what is killing them.. Nowitzki died with the same shriveled appearance...

Ok.. so I left my plants for 24 hrs, and one of the bigger ones, and my only JackHammer is looking really dried out. It is shriveled at least. Also, my largest plant Megan Fox has a few weird looking lacerations in her newest set of leaves. The other side's set has these little hole looking things too. I don't think there are any bugs in here, but I don't know for sure. I did dose them strong with nutes yesterday, so maybe the holes and weird chunks were caused from that?

Yesterday - Temp 74 ppm 600 - pH 5.3
24 hrs later/Today Temp 82 ppm 550 - pH 6.4
I know the temp is pretty high, but the roots seem to be doing fine for the most part. Admittedly the back two plants, one of them the JackHammer previously talked about, do not have good roots systems. The front two have wonderful root systems.
Any feedback is really appreciated guys.

This happened to a young clone that I put into my flowering soil and straight into 12/12, it is from overfeeding, 600ppm is much too high for this particular plant, now that I have seen it. Mine also got these holes, I do not know if they were from some flying insect, aphids, or the over feeding, but I bug bombed the shit out of my 2 flower rooms after I saw the aphids on this fucked up SC99.

Do you have any neem oil? It's cheap as fuck and it works. You can buy azamax if you want to get fancy. But you only need a little bit of neem oil.

Also, your pH issue is jacked, it could be a lot of things, lets look at what type of water you are using, the ppm of the water, what exact amount are you using of each fertilizer, the amount of water you have in the reservoir, and how much fertilizer is in the reservoir in comparison to how much water there is.

Hydroponics takes a bit of reading to find all the golden nuggets, but once you understand the in's and out's it's really easy, but it can be a very steep learning curve, initially. You'll get it though, just keep reading up on it. I can show you a few threads on DWC with giant containers, and a single giant thread on DWC with extra low profile containers, and everything else for that matter. The giant thread is well worth reading the 95 pages, you will learn soooo fucking much, this guy just went for it and became a fucking prodigy, until DEA knocked on his door. I might have even given you the thread before.

3-3.5 gal of filtered, 30 ppm (when the res is full). the ph is like 6.5 without me puttin the nutes in.
I did increments of 3 ml gro and micro, and 2 ml bloom until I reached 550 ppm.
I believe the total was 15ml micro, 15ml gro, and 10ml bloom.

I am going to put Gunther in the other bubbleponics unit away from the others, with nothin but fresh water until I figure this out.

Looks cool man! Only thing I could suggest would be to get a little floating aquarium thermometer for like $5 just to have an idea of where your water temps are at. The brown on your roots is either stain from the nutes (some nutes stain, some don't) or it's because they aren't healthy due to water temps. Healthy roots should look white, but if you've seen stinkbud's system, his roots are brown due to the liquid karma. Lookin good brother, keep on keepin on!

Thanks dude. I have a NutraDip trimeter, which is a badass, so I know exactly what my temps are.. and my ppm and pH. I don't think it's from my nutes.. although the superthrive is a little brown. I still can't figure out what the fuck is wrong with my JackHammer. he looks like he isnt getting water or something.. but he is.

Looks like some fucking dank greenhouse from up north. Looks like my Mr. Nice kind of. Lol, and you never get a name with greenhouse from up north. Do you know how many arms I had to twist just to figure out I had Mr. Nice? It was like, a guarded secret or something. It's not like I can't just smell it until I figure it out. My nose could put a German Shepard to shame, I shit you not. I can smell a drunk from across the house, and driving through a dairy farm is like taking a dip in hell. Let me see your plants, yo.

1-2 more weeks and you should be ready to clone. Probably much closer to 2 weeks. Also, drop your light down, it will help stimulate some lower growth so you can get clones faster. They will be better clones too that way because the stalks will thicken up.

Yea the lights look really high in the recent pictures.. maybe I moved them up that day or something. Megan is about .5 in away from the light now, the rest maybe 1-1.5 away....and Gunther got a haircut, I took off most of his lower leaves, but all the little leaves along the stalk are on and intact, and the ones just developing at the very top seem the least impacted and were left on as well.

I really hope that Megan is a girl dude. The stem is so stocky.. they are huge from me having all these fans on them. Megans leaves are almost the size of my hand and she is still small. Not quite 8 in, but almost. The root structure on her is the best by far, and so everything else. The most purple, the biggest leaves.. showed the most resilience to me not knowin what the fuck I was doing....

I hope she is a girl too! That would be one fantastic mom! She would make some bullet-proof clones :D I would like me one of them!

Trimming Gunther was a good idea. I'm glad the damage has ceased.

Ill son! Rhyming aside, my plants are gettin big.. but I have two problems that I can't figure out.

One- I plan on transplanting to the Hempy Bucket after veg.. but you are supposed to veg in the hempy until the taproot hits the drink.. Does anyone know if root expansion will continue into flowering, strongly enough that their roots WILL for sure hit the bottom?
- I think I will be ok.. but i need to do some more research on rooting during flower.. These Killing Fields are pretty Sativa dominant, so I think i have time..unless like all rooting stops in flower...

Two- My leaves are kind of curling down at the tips.. and I know that I have a slight nute burn going.. but at 600ppms.. am I ok? The other thing is that two of my plants already have died with similar symptoms, or one has, the other looks like it's on it's last leg. I do not know if this death and leaf curl/burn is just from overnuting.. or something else. I also have some weird coloration in some of the new node-leaves. Again, I guess from over-nuting, but need second, third, fourth, and maybe even fifth opinions here..

The big one is probably ready for clones, definitely ready for transplant. Transplanting goes on the plants accord, not yours, unfortunately. They will root for another 3-5 weeks after flowering begins, but the idea behind hempy buckets is to have them slightly root bound in the drink (correct me if I'm wrong.) So I would transplant as soon as you have the time and the root growth. It looks like over feeding, but it is hard to tell. Remember DWC is super efficient when it comes to nutrients, so you can keep it super light on the feeding. Some people never go over 900ppm during the entire grow. I never went over 1050-1100. Some strains also do not like a lot of fertilizer, so having this and DWC combined means you are going to be vegging with a max PPM of 450-500. Now I could be totally wrong, it's hard as fuck to tell when you aren't there and haven't had a chance to get your hands dirty. But I think that is what is going on. Gunther looks like fucking hell-ass-shit. Almost looks underfeed right now, but that could be from all the shock. It's probably using all it's stored carbs for flowering to repair itself, so it will take a few weeks to catch back up and return to normal growth.
