Hybrid check these 2 out. They haven't hit the violent growth spurt yet either. @iampepe couple dinafem deep cheese. I think it they keep it up and that stretch hits as hard as I'd hope for I should have a pound each. Not to shabby for an 80 day seed to chop lol. Under inefficient cobs to boot. Lol no really they are being smoked with light. 3 100w cobs and the monos. It's not often I get the space to run them from seed under amare and every time I do it's nuts. The other dinafem moby Dick was smaller than this after the stretch and no one believes that it was an auto.

Forgot to mention these were the most horrible light stress whatever deficient abused ready to throw em out looking plants before when I was giving them 1tsp calmag. I was losing tons of leaves too and now they have 100% transformed. They put on a foot in 7 dayside now look to be in perfect health.

All I can say is WOW!
Always impressive!

That doesn't. What does is when they presume something rather then growing based on Data-sheets.
What many fail to recognize is that Amare wants you to yield as much as possible from each fixture.
You can only fit so much in one light. So, finding the sweet spot between efficiency & yields is the goal. They've done that perfectly @ between 48-52% efficiency depending on which fixture you buy.
At 48% the Pro-9 best out the Florida sun in #'s. If it were 54% that single light could not have achieved that.
It's all about yields & quality.
People assume they know so much w/o even growing anything. That's what makes them So annoying.
They come around here where people grow & share results saying the results could be better if the efficiency was higher. But that's simply not true see.
I want my led fixture to produce not meet the criteria of some guy that doesn't grow.
Please people, enough with "EFFICIENCY"

Question: Would you rather make a 200 mile trip driving a 1.6 liter normally aspirated family sedan, or a 1.6 turbo hot hatch? At 65 mph they probably get similar mpg, but it's what's on tap that makes the trip memorable.

Those lights were made before amare was even a company, aka they stole the design. Just look at the date of the photo , amare wasn't even a company on that date and I had those for a while.
Still whining about Amare after all these years. Sigh :wall:

using your logic: So every car manufacturer stole the design from Henry Ford? Ditto motorcycles, trucks, light bulbs, and any other product where similar products compete

I have worked in the electronics business for a long time. The terms being discussed with LEDS I am familiar with, so I like the nerdy spec comparison thing. It floats my boat. And so does growing. I have done about 20 runs…not a GG, but not a noob either. I respect good lighting and grower skills.

So here’s my request, how about a PAR map grid with readings for your light. That would be nice…say at 12”, 18” and 24”. Photons to the canopy are king. Maybe readings inside and outside a reflective wall tent. That would skip the whole BIN minutia thing and give a guy a pretty good idea what kind of photon field he was going to lay down with a given product. Thanks.

Peace.
Amare info thread Coming soon w/ mapping.
Just super busy building new rooms.

Not the design of a car but every manufacturer took the assembly line from them, that's what ford invented and that's what every car company took from them, maybe a history book could help you. Also I don't care about Amare's I think they look like good lights , I like the design I use something similar...it was other people raging about my light and it's "stolen" copycat design, in actuality it is the opposite, this design came first than amare.

That's gotta be some of the lamest shit I ever saw aside from your grow.
Run Yoda Run!
EvilMobo, you hear this clown?. What a joker hu!
How many shit lights does it take to grow a pound? Well, just ask Yoda, he knows!
As you can see I have left this bird to fly free. I still offered advice to him in the 315 LEC thread with a pic of my first plant ever harvested which went un ridiculed and by him removing one of his post so w/e.

Meanwhile I am getting my next run ready..........

First lady to go from the 5K cree veg light I built to under the 3K flower light let's see how my first plant under full COB LED goes..............

I need a couple decent runs so I can afford some Amare's :bigjoint:

Exactly. My point in allot of the talk and light bashing that happens here. Imagine spending thousands of hours and dollars to manufacture a light to hear someone Bitch relentlessly about it. Life's to short to be a dick

As hybrid said it takes how many lights to make a pound? Not everyone is a pro grower, or like you pretends to be a pro grower. I did get a laugh seeing those pics though with all those lights hanging. As for noobs growing autos with leds that is a very bold statement. I will gladly put up any of my autos vs your 3 light photos any day. Like the lighting efficiency thing. It doesn't matter what your doing as long as your producing the most you can with your space provided and for my space autos are the bread winner.

Coming here to be a dick is kinda sad no? Cause these guys who follow and post have done be nothing but help folks and show what they are doing. If it's not good enough for you then just leave.

So if I posted a picture of a plant I was bringing back to health do to whatever circumstances, would that make me a target too?
I like Evil n the guys that respectfully follow my thread & share their experiences.
You should delete your worthless posts. If you can calm down & want to participate then that's fine by me. We all say stupid shit sometimes but most of us realize where we went wrong.

Right! Like when I first bought my Cloak some of these guys were saying the shittiest stuff after I just spent over $2 G's on one light. It made me feel shitty & unsure. Come to find out, it's probably the highest yielding light available anywhere out of all the different technology available.
Last run it gave me 2 pounds off only 600 watts w/ 4 medium sized plants. Not even huge yielding strains either. If I opened it up n added 2 more plants, I'm sure it would've gave me 2.5-2.75 pounds. Can you even imagine that?
Where are all those guys now? Deffinetly not apologizing for making me feel stupid when I first bought it.
So, for anybody reading this, next time you're on a thread n someone is saying diodes suck & only cobs produce, you can tell them Hybridway pulled 2 plates off 600 watts of soft diodes w/ plenty more potential to go.
That's a prime example of why you can't believe 1/2 of what you hear around here.
These same guys got people thinking 3590's are more efficient then 3070's. They're both CXB made the same way. You wouldn't compare a 3w diode to a 5w diode & say the 5 is more efficient then the 3 would you just because they're different at the same current?
That's the kindve misinformation that has people thinking the SE-450 isn't as good as it could be cuz it uses 3070's. It's called the right component for the unit not the wrong. It's every bit as efficient as any other light running cobs at half their max rated power.
Anyways, sometimes you just need to grow n find out. You can't always just read something here n think it's gold. Especially when the majority of the people spreading data info around don't even grow. Not all but the majority around here.
So yeah, I bought the most expensive light around, but it turned out to be the highest yielding light around too, & the extra harvest weight far surpasses the extra purchase cost.
Amare is fairly inexpensive but to me is worth way more then they charge for it. The quality & yields are better then any other above lighting available that I can find based on my research. Sure, some here on this forum might disagree. But those are the same guys that knocked me for buying the Cloak. So, their opinions don't hold any weight with me.
Rant over n out.

I'm dying to get my hands on an SE-450 and then I can compare it to the other half of my flower tent with the DIY light of straight COB's :bigjoint:

Hopefully in the near future...........

Either way, you're fam here homie! But yeah, I want you to get one too. You're gonna love it. All the options it has makes it exciting to use.
I can't wait to get into flower n start another thread. Not being in flower kills me. Especially now that I have my dream light Pro-9 I haven't even plugged in yet.
Gotta get this room up this week. Then I'll be getting another Cloak.
The plan is to have 1/2 the room SunCloak n the other 1/2 Amare. After the first run I'll be able to finish buying lights for this room. It's only temporary though so I'll be half way there once it's done. Then it's time to get the Warehouse going. Man, I love growing.
As much as I loved being a contractor & the $$$ was good, I don't miss it.
Nothing beats the feeling of a good bountiful harvest. As far as works concerned anyways.
