I have a lot of cfl's too, sometimes I think too many, but then I look at my plants and add more. For flowering ALONE I have 18 bulbs, ranging from 23-42 actual watts, like around 500 watts actual. And thats 3 plants at the moment. Veg has like a little over 200 actual watts. I'm about to put more in my veg cab because I just started a bunch of plants and clones recently.

P.S.-Try to stick with 23w+ for bulbs...13w bulbs are just kinda weak, their light isn't as bright, even if you add a bunch more.

I love growing with CFL's...it is my new favorite hobby! I have been experimenting with them for about 3 years now and have found you can get a great yield with two 42 W 2700k bulbs above and two 23 W 2700k bulbs on the sides per plant. I use the 2700k throughout the entire grow. This may not be ideal but it is more cost effective for me.

Your already doing something I wish I would have done. Looks like your growing in a decent size pot. I did not enjoy my exp. with transplanting. Next time should be better. I learned that the roots could have grown thru the container and into the soil like it was nothing.

When the plants are ready to switch to flowering stage you will need to switch to the 2700k-3000kelvin range CFLs....I got a few 65watt, 2700k CFLs at Lowes for about $16 and 55watt & 42watt, 2700k at Walmart for $12-$9 each....when using a Y socket, kinda double ups the wattage. Btw that is actual wattage I'm talking about, the 65watter, 55watter and 42watters. I also use 105watters, 85watters as my larger CFLs, they cost between $27 up to $38 bucks each, but worth every penny imo.....good luck
