My first Grow in a Closet Using CFL's

The drooping on the bottom fans has DEFINITELY subsided since the transplant and everyone told me to hold off on the watering for a few days. Also, I can see some new fans coming from the top/middle part of the plant! I find myself raising the lighting a little bit every day and it plant is definitely getting fuller!

I don't know enough to comment, really, and probably shouldn't - but does that plant look stretchy to you (or is it just me)? I'm on Experimental Plants No. 2, and am using a couple of fluoro tubes in a 4-foot fixture along with a couple of spiral CFS for side light. It's not my ideal lighting situation, but then I didn't have to find a couple hundred bucks to spend on an HID, either. When I get more money, I will be using HID. In the meantime, I use what I can afford - and this go round, the plants are looking decent. Mine look a little less stretched out than yours does, if in fact it *does* look stretched.

Good luck - and do share your carbon-filter making secrets with us if you care to do so as I, too, am curious as to how you constructed the filter.

I is a bit strechy but that's how I got it from a Cannabis Club. As far as the Carbon Scrubber, I already made a thread about it...

WHATS UP WITH THIS WILTING?!? At frist it was the BOTTOM FANS and those have perked up but the WILTING has worked it's way up the plant. What do you think it is from? I was told not to water it for a few days after the transplant and that seemed to help the bottom fans perk up but why are to top fans wilting now? Here are some pics...

It doesnt look bad ....thats pretty normal.....sometimes the leaves droop alittle...id be cautious...but its not that bad...and all these newbs are telling you its streched.....its a little ..damn cannabis club people....they dont care......i wouldnt worry of the streching either....I think as long as you stay off newt for awhile.....and dont over water.....mg feeds time released nute every time you do so......water about every other day...and make sure some water leaks out the bottom.....in conclusion that girl needs some time to grow before we start getting down to brass task...remem... im here to help....

Oh yeah....mylars the best.....its 20 dollars at the hydro store for a gang of it....foil??? shit negro....dont ever use it.....white paint is good too....i think maybe the ph of your water could be affecting it..... keep ph at about 6.5-6.8.....get the test strips like 10 dollars....i use filtered water...like bottled.....i get big jugs from this store...low ph.....and maybe since you dont have the gage...the temps could be off..but dont trip out...shes okay....

Alright, I will know the pH soon because I ordered a pH Probe and I am just waiting on that to come in the mail...Along with a few temperate gauges.

How often and how much do I water? I haven't watered since the transplant a few days ago. The soil appears to still be moist with a few parts near the brim of the pot that are starting to dry up.

MAJOR UPDATES!!!!

-I Swapped my 2 of my BRIGHT WHITE CFL'S with 2 COOL WHITE CFL'S. Now my "4 POINT LIGHTING SYSTEM" has 2 BRIGHT WHITE and COOL WHITE CFL'S instead of 4 BRIGHT WHITE CFL'S.

-I Added a fan to the bottom on the box and angled it so it swirls up and around to the top of the box...Where my exhaust fan takes air out the box via my CARBON SCRUBBER.

-Finally, I bought a LIGHTING TIMER so the lights automatically turn on a 7am and off at 7pm for my 12/12 lighting cycle.

*I think all these upgrades will take stress away from me and MRS. BUBBLE GUM!*

I am using 2 SOFT WHITES and 2 WARM WHITES. When I had the 4 WARM WHITES, the temperatures were getting to high for flowering, even with fans.

Nah my man Norcal, if you do happen to be at the store looking for some lights then look for either 5000K or 6500K for Vegitation and 2700K or Warm white for flowering. The timer is a nice addition. Unless you plan on vegitating for another 2-3 weeks i would just focus on 2700K lights. You can find them at walmart and lowes if home depot doesnt have them for like 8 dollars.

So you suggest switching back to all 4 WARM WHITES?
