Alright. Let me be clear.
This is my first grow with known, medicinal quality, feminized seeds!
Got my seeds fast and promptly with great customer service from Neptune Seed Bank.
Set up - - -
4 HPS 150w lamps in a 5x5 area. Will be using these for entire grow.
I usually buy cheap... 3$ bags of soil that has no time released or any other added fertz..
recently just bought cheap organic soil with no added fertz and starter "soil"
(more on that in a minute...)
humidifier when necessary.
hottest it gets in the basement is 80 degrees in the summer.
started in Party cups. will be moving to a 1 gallon fabric pot and finishing in a 5 gal pot
5 Legend OGK and 3 Cindy 99

Starting Summery!
3/16 I started the germ (Legend OGK) in warm wet paper towel and Tupperware container with lid resting on the top.
3/17 16 hours later all the seeds had popped a few hours later i put them in soil.
3/19 all burst through the ground
3/20 they were an inch tall and i had just introduced fretz (1/2 teapsoon) grow big in a gallon of water.
3/23 regular watering.
3/25 plants changed quite a bit. are now yellowing and curling in.
3/26 started Cindy 99 in case i couldn't save these plants.
PH was at 7, lowered it to 6, watered with fertz again. thinking maybe it was PH lock....
3/29 in the morning the plants seemed to be happier. leafs all perked up. the ones that were curled were slightly uncurling...... Later this evening... Plants scared me and i made the decision to transplant, thinking it was the dirt itself killing my babies.
i transplanted into miracle grow starting soil. when i did this i found my roots were drowning in water sitting at the bottom of the cup and had been doing great until that point....
Made sure there was much much better drainage and replanted. Also planted Cindy 99 today. I have a strong feeling they are going to out grow the stunted plants like crazy.... especially after what I've read about it..
3/31 Today the plants are looking awesome. Uncurling. the green is coming back. and i can even see some second leaves starting to show!
All in all this has be the most rough start i have ever had.... i didn't take pictures until today because they were just so sad... I couldn't look at them for too long without my heart sinking...
first 3 plants are green and look fine. last 2 were completely yellow. and curled under..
